Rebuilding Homes, Setting Up Farms!

"Lord, how do we start rebuilding our homes?"

"Yeah, are you going to use your powers to do so?"

[[SYSTEM NOTIFICATION: To rebuild homes, you need 200 wood and 100 stone on each house. You have 9 homes to rebuild, do you wish to rebuild it?]]

Sam reading the system notification then realized he has a resource pack on him.

"Stand back gentlemen, I need to do something."

Everyone then walked far away from Sam and Sam took out his resource pack token, which he then crushed with his hand with ease.

A bright white light blinded everyone in the vicinity, which lasted a few moments and when they opened their eyes they saw a sight they could never forget.

A bunch of wood piled up and stacked perfectly, a wagon of stone, lots of barrels containing stale bread and iron bars stacked together.

"This… we have never seen such a sight before!"

Sam looked at the stacks and began asking the system what was in front of him.

[[SYSTEM NOTIFICATION: 2500x wood, 1000x stone, 1000x food, 100 seeds of potato and 150 bars of iron]]

'This… is an amazing start.'

Sam nods his head and tells the men his plan, "I'll rebuild the house now, is anyone here a hunter? Or a soldier even?'

The middle-aged man who attacked Sam earlier then knelt on the ground, "I served time in the Empire's army before running here when I was younger! Anything you need lord?"

"I need you to scout the area, anything of note and where the nearest village is, be careful of the bandits, if they spot you run away and come to me, I'll help as much as I can."

The middle-aged man named Ramon nods his head, "I shall do what you command"

He then runs off and begins walking to the distance, doing what Sam had tasked him to do.

"Okay, I shall now rebuild the homes!"

[[SYSTEM NOTIFICATION: Rebuilding homes… taking 1800 wood, 900 stone from inventory…]]

Soon, a golden glow covered the stash of resources and then reached the former locations of the destroyed homes.

Homes before Sam and the villagers eyes began to form, and like magic it stood there before them, after moments of Sam saying that he would rebuild it.

"You must be loved by God, you must be our chosen hero to save this village!" One of the women villagers held her husbands arms and watched in awe while wiping her tears.

Sam nods his head and tells the villagers to go to their homes and rest, while Sam begins to figure out what other buildings he must build first.

The village elder stood next to Sam, as a guide helping Sam out when he needs information about the village.

"System, open up Lord's shop!"

Lord's shop is a shop that allows Lord's to buy blueprints to build buildings at their rank.

'Is this?' Sam looked at one of the building blueprints, it was a Shrine which allows villagers to have their jobs changed to whatever the Lord wants!

'This is a must buy!'

"Village elder, any land here in the middle of the village that isn't needed?"

The village elder then pointed towards a spot in the village that wasn't needed, and Sam bought the blueprint from the store.

[[SYSTEM NOTIFICATION: Shrine: 400 wood, 100 stone]]

'This uses the rest of my stone and wood from the resource pack, but this is necessary!'

Sam then nods his head, approving of the blueprint.

Soon, a golden glow covers the resources and the open patch of land in front of Sam, which then builds the Shrine before him.

It was a small building, with a open gate as a entrance to it.

In it, there was a statue of a golden lion that roars whenever a villager changes job.

"What is this Lord?"

"This is a building which allows our villagers to gain experience in a different job, allowing production to be more effective!"

"This… this is incredible!"

Sam nods his head agreeing with the village elder. He never saw this in the past, and this must be exclusive to Lords and no adventurer could use this in the future.

"We now need to build a logging camp and a quarry to gain resources for the village. We have a forest near us, so we can start cutting down trees now, but where is the nearest cave to mine ores?"

The village elder tilts his head before clicking his fingers, "I remember! To the south, there is a cave which contains a special mineral called 'Salt' alongside stone!"

"Salt?" Sam was pleasantly surprised at hearing that Salt was in the region.

"Yes Salt! But it is controlled by the village nearby, so we can't access it unless the village elder there gives us permission?"

"Ah, then we must meet this village elder in the future. For now, let's start creating this logging camp and build a wall around our perimeter! Get 4 men to me, I shall change their job to lumberjack for the time being!"

"Yes Lord!"

The village elder with a skip in his step rushes towards the villagers who were in their homes.

Soon, four men stood before Sam with a smile on their face.

"I am glad to be useful to you, Lord!"

"Yes, I am extremely happy that you chose me!"

Sam then whistles and tells them to follow him. Soon, they stood in front of the shrine.

"Change them to lumberjacks!"

ROARRR!

A loud roar echoed in the shrine, causing the villagers to cover their ears.

However soon, they return back to normal, but this time with experience in woodcutting.

"This is amazing Lord! Are we going to cut down some trees?"

"That is the plan, go to the forest and set up camp there and begin cutting logs, soon we will need them for building more!"

Sam then turned around and headed towards the other villagers who were now seated outside talking with each other.

"Alright, the rest of you will be farmers! Who here doesn't have experience in farming?"

Sam watched as no one put their hands up or said anything.

"Wonderful, there is a plot of land to the east of here which is completely empty, begin plowing the land and then plant the seeds from the resource stash!"

"Yes Lord!"

Sam nods his head and looks around as the village he just took over is becoming more busy.

The village elder stood next to Sam and told him that he will escort Sam to his new home.

Soon, they arrived at a much bigger courtyard than what the rest of the villagers have.

"This is fit for our Lord! Do not reject this kindness, for we all want you to be as comfortable as you can, as a thank you of trying to save this village!"

Sam nods and heads inside, but not before telling the elder that he will go rest for the night and will return tomorrow.

'Good time to return to Earth!'

"Yes Lord, when you return I shall await you and give you your report!"

Sam nods and closes his door.

[[SYSTEM NOTIFICATION: DO YOU WISH TO RETURN TO EARTH? (PLEASE NOTE, YOU CAN ONLY RETURN BACK HERE IN 12 HOURS)]]

"Yes!"

And soon, a white flash covers Sam's vision and his body dematerialize from where he stood.
