Birthday Banquet 2

As night approaches, people are coming to Fu Mansion. Frist Madam has to come to greet and accept people in the front. Feng Wu look at the people who came and go to Fu Mansion and thought of the previous life. She remembers the first branch family had two children and their youngest daughter who was one year older than her did not have a good marriage life. She got raped by a merchantman. So she got forced to marry him but later on, Feng Wu didn't know what happen but the Fu young lady died from giving birth prematurely with one death two lives. She sighs as she thought about their death.

Feng Wu got out of the carriage and hold Xiao Li's hand to get down. Old Madam Feng walks ahead with Nanny Ma's support. Concubine did not get to come since she wasn't the main wife so only Feng Wei Wei. They walk to the entrance and saw many people who come to the Fu Mansion. Everyone who got invited is usually an upper-class family and higher rank ministers. The Fu clan is from the empress side family so there a lot of people give faces to the Fu clan a lot even though the empress has died for so many years but the Fu clan still has power and supports the third prince.

In her past life, she didn't see the third prince's face before but she did hear a lot of rumors about him because of his infamous name. It says the empress has two sons but the first son had died after being born for three months or else that child could have been the first prince. Then after a couple of years, the empress gives birth to the third prince. Feng Wu doesn't pay attention to the capital business so she doesn't know how the empress died but just hears rumors that the empress died because of illness but there are more rumors that the empress died because of poison.

After the empress died, the third prince was only fives year old, who stay shelter in the Fu clan. Then after the third prince's Wang Yanlin grows up, he becomes ruthless. He went to war when he was ten years old and got the power tall of the Eagle Army when he was fifteen years old. She doesn't remember much but she knows that the third prince is someone ruthless and powerful. It is sad how she die before knowing who is become king in the past life.

They went through the entrance to the guest hall. All the children be will staying in a pavilion in the back of the guest hall.

"Xiao Li bring Yao Yao to play with the children and don't let her get bullied. Feng Wei Wei follows Feng Wu too" Old Madam Feng instruct Xiao Li.

" Yes, Madam." Xiao Li salute and took Feng Wu and Feng Wei Wei to the children's pavilion.

Feng Wei Wei was in a good mood as she will get to make Feng Wu lose face today. Even though her mother didn't get to come to the banquet but she can still make smear Feng Wu's reputation. Feng Wu can see her mood but didn't care since she can handle her trick.

In her previous life, she didn't come since she feel ashamed about her being mute, no matter how her grandmother persuade or console.

When they enter the children's pavilion and saw many other children. Feng Wu doesn't know anyone so she didn't go to greet them but just stand still as she try to find an empty spot to rest. Feng Wei Wei went to greet some of her friends and didn't care about Feng Wu.

" Young Miss, can you stay here and wait for me? I need to use the restroom real quick."

"Hmm." Feng Wu make a sound and nodded.

Xiao Li went away and Feng Wu found a stone table with a chair to sit on. Then some girls came over to her.

" Are you Feng Wu? Tsk... There was nothing special about it." The girl in green clothes said.

" Yes. And why did you bully our friend?" Feng Wu shows an expression of a question mark on her face.

" Oh. Forget about it, you are mute so you can not speak! Haha... Mute girl!" The girl in blue dress exclaims loud and laughs.

" Please, don't say this to my elder sister. She is already sad enough now that when she grows up no one will marry her. So don't bully her." Feng Wei Wei shows a pity face and nice expression.

Feng Wu sneer at Feng Wei Wei acting and did not care since it is all children trick, it was below her standard. She glances at her hand and ignores their words even though all the girl is still talking nonsense of her being mute and criticizing her.

"Hey! What are you doing?! If you want to bully her then get out of my house!" Fu Lijuan yells at the girls.

All the young girls are blush and scared of Fu Lijuan since she was the niece of the empress and is the cousin of the third prince.

" Go away now or..." All the young girls ran away and leave Feng Wei Wei frozen there.

" Sister Fu, please don't misunderstand. They are just playing and did no---"

" So you are her younger sister right?"

" Yes."

" You are ugly. No wonder you are so jealous of her."

Feng Wei Wei was wearing a white tryst Hanfu dress and had some hairpin tassel on each side of her head. She looks beautiful but now her face is detorted with blushing ashamed and angry at how arrogant Fu Lijuan is but she couldn't retort. She walks away.

Fu Lijuan looks at Feng Wu and gasps because she saw Feng Wu's face so pretty and cute. Feng Wu wears a light pink tryst Hanfu dress. Her hair is tied into a little bun on both sides of the head and has some hair drape behind her back. It has some light pink flower hairpin on each side.

Feng Wu also looking at Fu Lijuan. Fu Lijuan also wears the same style dress as Feng Wu but its color light blue. Fu Lijuan has the same hairstyle as Feng Wu and she has hairgrips tassel on each side of her hair. She has a chubby face that makes people want to pinch.

" Hello. My name is Fu Lijuan. How about you?"

Feng Wu really does want to speak but she sighs as she chose to become mute now. So she turn around to look for something to write but Xiao Li just came back with a flush cheek.

" Young Miss. Are you okay?"

Feng Wu nodded and turn to look at Fu Lijuan again. Xiao Li saw that it was a little girl that wear high-quality clothes and she look so cute with a chubby face.

" What is your Young Miss name?" Xiao Li ask again since Feng Wu didn't answer her.

" My young miss name is Feng Wu."

" You have a nice name." Fu Lijuan giggles as she looks at Feng Wu.

" Miss. Sorry, my young miss is mute and can not talk." Xiao Li said in distress.

" Gasp... Really? Sorry I did not know. But it is fine. I will be your friend if you don't mind."

Feng Wu glance at Fu Lijuan and thought; ' Fu Lijuan is pretty and didn't look like scheme girl or have evil intention. But who wants to harm her? And why? This is too complicated.' Feng Wu has never had a friend before so she feels hesitant about it but after thinking for a couple of seconds and nodded agreeing.

" Let go. I want to bring you to go see my brother."

Fu Lijuan grabs Feng Wu's hand and walks to the Red courtyard. Feng Wu feels stiff when Fu Lijuan touches her but tries to resist the feel of retracting her hand since Fu Lijuan is her friend now. Xiao Li also follow after she saw Fu Lijuan take Feng Wu away. When Feng Wu walk-in follows, she saw that man who she bit his hand. She was shocked as to why is he here or do they know each other.

" Big brother! Big brother!"

Fu Lei and Wang Yanlin turn to look toward the voices. There Wang Yanlin saw Feng Wu follow Fu Lijuan as they hold hands. Wang Yanlin smile with his eye looks deeply at Feng Wu. Feng Wu can feel Wang Yanlin's gaze and she shudders.

" Feng, this is my big brother and big brother cousin, the third prince, Wang Yanlin."

Feng Wu feel like she could not comprehend the situation as she just froze and shudder when she hear Fu Lijuan's introduction. She tries to control her emotion and expression as she looks with no emotion in her eye.

" And this is Feng Wu. S...she could not speak because she is mute." Fu Lijuan tried to explain.

Wang Yanlin raises his eyebrow with an interesting look. He did hear her voice before but didn't think she become mute. Now she looks more like a pity rabbit who needs to be saved.
