Shattered Carriage... Shattered Hopes
Boom!!
The sound of the explosion echoed throughout the forest, frightening the creatures nearby. Birds filled the sky, fleeing in fear of being caught in the blast.
Dust rose as the carriage was completely destroyed. Even the horses weren't spared; their bodies were nowhere to be found, obliterated by the explosion.
Despite the devastating effect of the attack, tension lingered in the air as the warriors' Instincts remained on high alert, hair standing on end, as they sensed that their attack had not hit its target.
"This dark aura thing is really dope... Even I might have taken a bit of damage from that explosion," a manly yet smooth, somewhat playful voice echoed from the settling dust.
The warriors' enhanced vision peered through the settling dust, settling on a dark translucent force field which seemee to have taken the brunt of their attack, yet it did not appear to be damaged.
