His cold mother who rarely raised her voice felt like someone else now. Howland was still hugging Rosie's body, which was now starting to shake.

"Roseanne… this might be a misunderstanding. Mother may have heard wrong," said Howland, trying to calm Rosie down by rubbing her back.

A doctor that Howland had seen examining his younger sister came back into the room and bowed respectfully to his mother.

"Your Highness, I will testify truthfully for the sake of my credibility as a doctor," the man said, making Howland growl in annoyance.

Howland immediately covered Rosie's ears, so the girl didn't listen to the man's explanation.

"I think what happened to Princess Roseanne a moment ago was a sign of a miscarriage. There is a lump of blood-"

"STOP!" Rosie shouted loudly. She no longer wanted to hear any explanation…
