Rosie's New Friends

Rosie went in first to prepare dinner. Their food was almost ready. Tomorrow, Aslan asked her to make a simple lunch because he had to look for wood from morning to evening. On Saturday morning, they had to go to the village because Rosie would study magic with Hilda, while Aslan would meet Barl to accept his job offer.

As the sun set, Aslan rushed to finish his work and clean his body, which was full of sweat. The man returned to the house with a welcome aroma of his wife's cooking.

Rosie was in the middle of washing her hands and then she sat down across from Aslan.

"A lot of papers. You've worked hard today."

"You're not eating?" asked Aslan after not seeing the plate for his wife.

Rosie shook her head. "I ate all the cookies that May brought, so now I still feel full. You can eat comfortably. I want to clean myself up for a bit."
