Aslan's Day

Before Howland left her alone, Rosie grabbed her brother's arm to ask about something.

"If father sent troops to pick up Nicholas, would Aslan also come with them? Can I see him later?" the girl asked, making Howland chuckle.

"Of course Aslan will come. He will be a witness to incriminate Prince Nicholas' punishments. You can definitely meet him, but remember! You have to pretend. Both of you are not husband and wife, understand? I will also tell Aslan about this, so that he can understand."

Howland pushed Rosie's head back inside.

"It's alright. You don't have to worry about anything. Father and I will take care of everything, so you can rest now."

"But, how did you tell Aslan? Are you going back to his residence?"

"No. Our father will surely send Aslan a letter of notice regarding Nicholas and his opinion of your marriage. I might also leave a letter to the courier who brought the message from our father."
