5 SOUR FEELING

Inside the City Lord's Mansion, in a courtyard a young boy can be seen standing straight and holding a katana in his right hand with his eyes closed, the boy was none other than Itachi. Itachi had onyx eyes under which were long, pronounced tear-troughs. He had jet-black hair that was pulled back in a low ponytail and his face was framed with centre-parted bangs that extended to his chin; the ponytail and bangs grew longer over the years. He was considered as one of the handsome men in Glory City.

A light blue aura started to appear around him, the blue aura started to change into pink resembling sakura petals, finally it changed into fire. The fire once again changed to blue aura.

Itachi opened his eyes revealing his 2 tomoe Sharingan and slashed his katana downwards and the aura around him condensed into energy around the blade of the katana and shot forward towards the kata was slashed.

Happy with the amount of energy he was able to release for a normal strike with Zangetsu, he put his katana into the sheath. He removed the inscriptions he had placed around the courtyard and went to his room.

In his room he could see 3 of his shadow clones cultivating, he released the jutsu and all the experiences of the clones were transferred to him, he heard a crack in his soul and his soul force began to circulate. He knew he broke through to the Gold rank, he walked in front of a mirror and activated his Sharingan, now his Sharingan had evolved into 3-tomoe Sharingan.

He decided to pay Ning'er a visit. He reached the mansion of the Winged Dragon family, he saw Ning'er sitting alone and sobbing in a courtyard. He frowned and went to her, he put his arms around her and asked "What happened my love?"

Ning'er was surprised, but after seeing that it was Itachi she cried even harder. Looking at the girl crying so hard, Itachi began consoling her to calm her down. After some time, Ning'er calmed herself down and said "My family wants me to marry Shen Fei from the Sacred family, they have already made arrangements for the engagement."

Itachi could guess what had happened, it seems even though he was here, the plot still went in the right path. Seeing how she cried, he brought his hands on her cheek and asked "so you were crying because you thought you couldn't be with me?"

Ning'er nodded her head and held his hand that was on her face.

"Don't worry my princess, in this life you and I are meant to be. Just forget about that engagement alright? I'm here after all, I'll take care of it. So let's see my princess smile again shall we?" said Itachi in a warm tone.

Ning'er smiled hearing his words. This was what she loved the most about him, he would always treat her like a child and cared for her the most.

Seeing her smile, Itachi smiled and said "don't go on worrying about this engagement and be sad. Instead you should be cultivating, we would be attending the institute next year right? Even if the Sacred family wants to take you from me, I won't let them."

Itachi pulled her into his embrace and kissed her cheeks and asked "understood?"

Ning'er blushed and nodded her head. Even though Itachi had kissed her a few times before, she still felt shy and her heart would race every time.

Seeing that he had calmed her down, Raj said "If that boy from Sacred family comes to trouble you, you can always come to me okay?"

Ning'er knew that he was doing this for her sake, but she didn't want him to trouble him. So she resolved herself to cultivate seriously from now on.

After spending some time with Ning'er, Itachi left the Winged Dragon family. It still felt a little sour in his heart seeing his love getting engaged to some trash, but at his current situation he didn't have anything to threaten the Sacred family. He was financially weak too and all he had was a title of genius. So he decided to go with flow and act when required.

'Sacred family? Not only do you've a headache coming in the form of Nie Li, but you also want to bring a disaster by implying me? Hehe let's see who gets the last laugh. And Nei Li you better stay away from Ning'er if you ever hurt her, I'll make sure you wont even know how you died. Even though I dislike the possessiveness you hold towards Ye Ziyun, I didn't have thoughts towards her because she was also one of the reasons you survived your 1st life and I want you to be grateful for that and treat her well, but if you just treat her like an object I don't mind taking her away from you' Itachi thought as he walked back to his house.
