7 PREPARATIONS

A year before Itachi was still in gold rank, he couldn't afford to offend the Sacred family. Even though the sacred family couldn't do anything to him or his family because of the City Lord and the Association's backing. If he really started to put them on edge, then the sacred family wouldn't mind involving the dark guild in their conflict. Itachi couldn't afford that because he had make sure that would bring no harm to his father and mother.

That's the reason he didn't act at the time when Ning'er was engaged, but now it was quite different. Itachi was already at 2-star black gold rank, he could go head to head with the patriarch of the Sacred family and from on there would be Nie Li trying everything he can to take down the Sacred family this would definitely give Itachi a big advantage and he could act when he needs to.

The trio left the institute after that. They went to the City Lord's mansion to cultivate.

Nie Li watched the trio leave, he felt a huge threat regarding this boy, from his memories he learnt that the boy was called Itachi Uchiha and had made contributions to Glory City. He was also known as a genius, Nie Li felt uncomfortable. He had never heard of this boy in his past life.

In a courtyard, Itachi left the two girls to cultivate by themselves now that he was ready to stand against the Sacred family he had to make sure that his family stays safe, so he decided to pay visit to the City Lord and the Alchemist Association.

Itachi knocked on Ye Zong's room, after which he heard a reply "come in."

Itachi walked in and saw Ye Zong busy with some paper work, he said "uncle I have things I need to say." After Itachi had sorted out his relationship with Ziyun, he started addressing Ye Zong as uncle instead of City Lord

Ye Zong shifted his sight from the paper work and looked at Itachi, seeing Itachi's serious look he nodded his head and said "go on."

"I believe that the Sacred family may act soon, as they know that Ning'er is my girl. So I want you to increase the security of my family." Itachi said.

Ye Zong frowned "Even if the Sacred family wants to make things difficult for you and your family, they wouldn't dare to attack any person in Glory City. Right?"

"That's only the case if the sacred family wasn't in terms with the dark guild, I believe that they're in collaboration. That's why I'm a bit worried about my family." Itachi said.

Ye Zong didn't expect Itachi to say such words "Itachi you shouldn't speak such things if you can't prove them. And this is sacred family we're talking about, one of the major families in Glory City if it's really as you say then Glory City will be doomed, if both internal and external conflicts arise together."

"That's why I need you to keep an eye on the sacred family, I still don't have any proof yet, but I'll make sure I'll find it. So I want uncle to increase the security to my family." Said Itachi.

Ye Zong was silent for a few minutes, trying to understand the true situation he and the city were in, if it was really like Itachi said then he would have to do a lot of work. And also bringing down the sacred family without any evidence isn't possible either. After that he said "I'll keep an eye on the sacred family as well as increase the security of your family."

Itachi thanked him and took his leave. He went to the Association and had the same conversation with Gu Yan and Yang Xin, they too agreed to help him and investigate the Sacred Family. After which Itachi went back to the City lord's mansion.

Itachi didn't plan on attending the institute, but he didn't want Ziyun and Ning'er to skip it as well even though Ning'er was already in 4-star Silver rank and Ziyun being in 5-star Bronze rank. He didn't have any good demon spirits to integrate, so he was still a fighter.

As days passed, Itachi would hear about the institute matters from the girls, he also knew that Nie Li tried to get close to Ziyun but was coldly ignored by her every time. It seems that Nie Li and Shen Yue had some conflicts just like in the original story. The scam with the inscription that the sacred family had was instantly known through out Glory City.

Itachi knew the only reasons why Nie Li went to school, one for Ziyun and second for the Thunder Gods Meteorite Sword, Itachi thought that the sword would be a perfect gift for Ning'er as her soul attribute is also related to thunder. Before everything Itachi had to make sure he would get the Nightmare Demon Pot first, then he would be able to get god-level growth rate demon spirits.

Nei Li had also sent the association a letter with the uses of Purple Haze Grass, but was unable to hide his identity because he couldn't afford to buy all the Purple Haze Grass in Glory City. So he approached the association with a share of 7.5 and 2.5 in which association would take 7.5. After which he too became a member of the association and contributed some pill recipes by introducing them as his imaginary master's recipes.

Itachi had received an invitation from Chen Linjian, to explore the Ancient Orchids City Ruins. He thought it would be a good vacation for him and the girls. Also the girls would get to experience the world outside of Glory City. But there was another reason why Itachi wanted to go, he wanted to capture the dark guild members, the exploration team would encounter.

With this decided, Itachi planned on letting the girls get ready for tomorrow's exploration. So he went to Ziyun courtyard where the girls were cultivating. He entered the room and explained his thoughts excluding the dark guild, the girls were naturally happy and excited.

Itachi also reminded Ye Zong about taking the girls with him and promised him that he'll take care of the girls and bring them back safely. After which he went to his own courtyard and resumed his jutsus training.

For the past year or so, Itachi started training in his jutsus, he already had mastered the 3 Zanpakutos in their shikai state. The jutsus and Zanpakutos are what Itachi plans to depend upon when facing demon spiritualists, as currently he doesn't have any good demon spirits. He also wanted to know how his jutsus would fare against the demon spirits.
