Crazy practice

As soon as Bian got back to alliance central military academy. He started his practice for jadeskin. After going through the video on the chip, which demonstrated all the moves and positions for jadeskin, he downed the geno solution and began his practice.

Several days later his temperature had gone down by 35 degrees Fahrenheit, he felt a cool sensation moving through his body. It was not a discomfort but was rather refreshing, Bian felt more fit as if his body cells were full of energy.

Bian was in his room, he seemed to be lost in thought as Ouyang Ming walked in.

"Yo what's the matter, got fired by professor Min already"

"No I'm looking for someone"

"Who, maybe I can help"

"Probably not, I'm looking for Han Yan."

"Ah yes Han Yan, she would have been the school belle if she wasn't always in the sanctuaries. I can give you her number"

"Really, than--"

"Not so quickly lover boy, give and take what do you have to offer?"

Bian thought about this he gave his family eighty percent of his income but still had millions in his name.

"One hundred thousand, that's my limit."

Ouyang Ming was surprised, he was thinking of getting a few thousand but not such a generous amount. His vulture like eyes seemed to glow

"Ok brother Bian, I won't make things difficult for you" he said and sent Bian the number.

"When did we become brothers" Bian scoffed as he walked out of the room. He took a copy of jade skin and the geno fluid as he called Han Yan.

In the girls dormitory

"Yanny are you going back to the sanctuaries already" Lin Miru pouted as she asked.

"Don't call me yanny!" Han Yan said, as she looked at the unknown number calling her.

"Another unknown number" she sighed and was about to hang up when Lin Miru intervened.

"Couldn't it be that boy you were looking for?"

"I didn't give him my number"

"It won't hurt to check" Lin Miru said and turned to her commlink.

Han Yan answered the call, to her surprise it was Bian who called.

"Have you been calling me?" She asked, thinking Bian might have been part of those calls she ignored.

"No I just got your number, can we meet up at the training room" Bian asked.

"Ok" Han Yan made her way to the training room. Bian waited for her at the door.

'He's skin, it's so smooth and he smells nice.' Han Yan blushed a little.

"Let's go inside" Bian walked her in and booked for a private room.

In the room, he gave Han Yan the jadeskin geno art and hyper solution. 

"I've been thinking about you a lot and I wouldn't want you to get hurt, or lost in the sanctuaries. So I brought you this geno art" he said while looking her straight in the eyes.

'I think its better to be honest here, her mom definitely taught her like she taught Han Sen, no use trying to be cunning or deceptive.'

Han Yan is very talented but lacks the proper resources to shine, Bian gave her the geno art and said "The time we spent chatting was really nice, I hope we can get to know each other more"

Han Yan felt her heart skip a bit, she blushed. 'How can anyone be so naïve, he is really nice though, sorta like my younger brother. At least he is better than all those arrogant pricks, so innocent'

*Mental sigh* 

She looked up and saw Bian still waiting for a response, "Y-yes I would like that" as she said those words her neck turned beet red. She brought out the chip and started her practice of jadeskin.

Bian sat down by the side and watched her, he practiced the dongxuan sutra and a pleasant fragrance permeated the air. It put Han Yan at ease and released her tension.

As she practiced, Bian saw the flow of life force around her body because she breathed in the dongxuan scent from his body. 'No problems here.'

After they parted ways Bian went to meet Bai Yishan. Not to keen on beating around the bush he started the conversation.

"Professor Bai, is there any geno art that strengthens the heart or gives tremendous power boost."

With the wordings he used Bai Yishan naturally thought of only one geno art the heresy mantra.

"There is a geno art called heresy mantra, its too dangerous in my opinion though. But let me save you the stress and hand it over."

Bai Yishan knew Bian would not relent if he didn't get what he was looking for, he had observed Bian and was surprised by his determination. He told him about the formal usage and the death of some practitioners but Bian didn't bat and eye and demanded for it anyway.

"You'll need to use it as a tester and regularly come to saints hall to give us feedback" he said as he gave him a copy of heresy mantra.

After this Bian traded 10 A-class lisences for an S-class one from Bai Yishan. He went to saints hall and purchased ghosthaunt and nourishing stomach. With Jadeskin it was time to start serious practise.

Ghosthaunt was a grappling geno art which requires precise muscle control, with Jadeskin one could control their muscles precisely. He basically has a key and the lock it opens.

Nourishing stomach, an S-class geno art which would allow one to eat three times the usual amount and digest food faster. If you could eat a plate of rice and last one hour before being hungry after practice of nourishing stomach you would be able to eat three plates of rice and last six hours before getting hungry.

The hunger of heresy mantra could only be subsided by the cooling effect brought about by jadeskin. He has a set of complimentary arts which would boost each other to their full potential, now he just needs seclusion to consolidate his new geno arts. He bought pots, condiments and other cooking utensils with him.

All set Bian went into the sanctuaries to find Qin Xuan, he didn't really talk with her much but they had a silent sort of friendship between them. He bought the location of jade mountains from her, a place filled with mutant and sacred-blood creatures.

After checking on the black fanged snake, he took the manticore to jade mountains. 

A herd of iron-horned goat were feeding in some grass near the peripheral of jade mountains

"Mutant creatures already" Bian hunted down three of these goats with the aid of the manticore. Compared to the sacred-blood manticore mutant creatures were too weak, thanks to jadeskin poison would no longer affect him so he wasn't scared of eating prey killed by the manticore.

He found a relatively safe spot miles away from the mountain.

He set up camp there after the manticore chased off all the ordinary creatures living there. He brought out the kitchen supplies and cooked a big pot of goat soup.

After stuffing his stomach he ran the dongxuan sutra, which speed up his metabolism then practiced the heresy mantra. Nourishing stomach also aided him with speeding up his metabolism and giving him a larger appetite.

Bian repeated this cycle of hunt eat and practice for three weeks. The progress of heresy mantra jumped by leaps and bounds, it was nearing the second stage which would eradicate the hunger it caused. What would normally take three months to accomplished took less than a month thanks to the setup Bian had prepared. He became skinny but had taken note of this already.

He maxed out his mutant geno points and also felt that mutant meat wasn't filling enough to breakthrough to the second stage of heresy mantra.

"Heresy mantra is about to break through, I need a higher source of energy" Bian decided to hunt for a sacred blood creature this time.

He stalked the mountains for two days until he saw a lone sacred-blood creature. It was a giant red serpent. It was 1 meter wide and 20 meters long, it's red scales gleamed like metal.

With jadeskin's precise muscle control the time needed for aiming using vital point targeting had reduced to a staggering 5 seconds.

Posed to strike, a small invisible ring only seen by Bian formed and rapidly shrunk to a dot. He threw a mutant ghost butterfly beast soul at the sacred-blood serpent and ran, he couldn't afford to fight more that one sacred-blood beast soul so he planned to lure it away from the mountains.

The serpent was searching for prey when it felt a horrific burning pain on its sides. It looked over and saw a human running in the distance.

HISS!

It hissed in anger and chased after Bian, rapidly slithering through the trees around and catching up to him. With a swift pounce it bit down towards Bian.

"Dongxuan sutra isn't only for smelling nice!" Bian used the dongxuan movement and sparticle to observe the serpent's movement and evade at the last moment. He summoned a primitive spear and attacked the serpent with all his might.
