Lu Meirong's jealousy
Lijuan wanted to bring back the little sister to her home. She also wished to have a little sister at home with whom she can play and share her things. Lu Meirong was born weak and her growth was slow. She looked like a 4- or 5-years old kid. If she stands next Lijuan she looks younger than Lijuan. So, Lijuan considered Lu Meirong as a little sister. Hua Mulan and Lee Jianguo didn't take the situation seriously, they would take in the girl if she had no one to relay on just to fulfil their daughter's wish. Lee Jianguo sent his people to ask around, and he got the details same as what the girl has said. He just wanted to see if the girl was sent by his enemies or it was just a coincidence. As per the investigation, it was indeed a coincidence to meet this little girl here and she was here to visit her mother's graveyard. Nothing was unusual with the little girl's background. Both her father and mother were dead and she was an orphan. There was no trouble in taking the girl in and give her accommodation. They were rick, and taking care of an orphan was not a big deal to them. If taking this girl home can make his little princess happy, he didn't mind taking up the responsibility.
Like this Lu Meirong's entry into Lijuan's family was successful. Over the years, Lu Meirong acted like an obedient girl and took care of Lijuan like an elder sister. To outsiders and even Hua Mulan and Lee Jianguo, it was shown like Lu Meirong was grateful to Lijuan and takes good care of her. Lijuan was also genuinely treating Lu Meirong as her younger sister and giving her everything she had, whatever was gifted to Lijuan same has to be given to Lu Meirong. Apart from the fact that Lu Meirong's room was in the ground floor whereas Lijuan, Hua Mulan and Lee Jianguo rooms were in the first floor. Lu Meirong could not enter Hua Mulan and Lee Jianguo's room and study. All other freedom she had was same as Lijuan. Lu Meirong was not grateful at all and she always thought they were biased and one day will take everything that rightfully belongs to her.
Lu Meirong stopped thinking about her past and got ready to execute her current mission by making Lijuan to beg her father to get Li Chen the admission to the school they were currently studying and to make them support Li Chen's family business. After deciding her course of actions, Lu Meirong asked the maid about Lijuan's whereabouts and came directly to Lijuan's bedroom. Lijuan's bedroom was typical princess style bedroom, very big and decorated neatly with all kind of flowers, paintings and lightings. Though Hua Mulan and Lee Jianguo acted like offering her everything that Lijuan had, they didn't put in much efforts or kept any valuable things in her room and it was not even half big as Lijuan's room. But the room's style and decoration were enough to fool a child like Lijuan to feel that she had given her a room exactly like the one she had. And she couldn't force Lijuan to do anything extreme for herself which might cause the suspicion of Hua Mulan and Lee Jianguo. So, she always acted satisfied what ever they gave her and kept note of everything.
Lu Meirong prepared herself and without knocking on the door she directly entered Lijuan's princess style bedroom. The moment she entered the room, she saw Lijuan lying on the bed lost in thoughts.
On the other hand, Lijuan has been waiting for Lu Meirong to enter her room and start her acting. She was almost bored to death when finally, Lu Meirong entered the room. Lijuan pretended to be in deep thoughts whereas she was actually to preparing to act out her part to reject every single request that Lu Meirong will make.
"An An, I missed you so much did you miss me?", said Lu Meirong and ran towards Lijuan to give her a hug. Lijuan who was lying on the bed stood up suddenly when she heard someone's voice and greeted with a suffocating hug from Lu Meirong. Lijuan felt nauseous for being hugged by Lu Meirong. But she controlled her emotions and smiled sweetly and greeted Lu Meirong.
"I missed you too. Where have been? You were gone for all morning and you didn't even inform me where you are going? I would have come with you? You didn't even take the driver with you went out all alone. Is everything fine?"
Listening to the concerned voice of Lijuan, Lu Meirong did not find any changes in her behavior and missed to see the mockery in Lijuan's eyes. Lu Meirong was feeling smug for making Lijuan wait for herself all morning. This stupid little princess doesn't know anyone or have any friends to meet them on the weekends. Lijuan is lonely without her presence.
Lu Meirong continued her acting by feeling sad all of a sudden, and acting like she had something to tell but she doesn't know how to say it out.
Lijuan thought in her mind, here you go the best actress award goes to Miss Lu Meirong. Just see her acting, she changed her expressions so quickly and showing such real emotions that can fool anyone. Listening to Lijuan's thoughts, Ivy commented, "No wonder you couldn't beat this woman, just with her top notch acting she can make a living". Lijuan rolled her eyes at Ivy's comments and started cooperating with Lu Meirong's acting.
"Meirong, is there something that's bothering you? You know you can tell me anything right? We can find a solution together."
Lu Meirong was just waiting for this sentence from Lijuan.
