Pain!
Huh? Why was she feeling so weak and hurt? Was this a painful process. She couldn't help but open her eyes which felt so heavy that she almost instinctively shut them tight. Her body felt so weak all over as though she had been crushed by a thousand pounds of weight.
Begrudgingly she managed to sit up straight as she felt an immediate headache attack her forcefully. Suddenly her head became filled with sudden memories, her fingers trembled in anger unconsciously as she saw the memories of the body whom she now seemed to possess.
Unfortunately, the body whom she now resided in was that of the second young miss of the Xiao household, Xiao Huang Fei; Her father is the left prime minister of kingdom Ruo of the Jing continent.
All her life she had lived with no love from either her father or any relations, the other concubines and madams as well as her elder and younger sisters grew jealous due to the fact that she was the daughter of the first wife, although she was given anything she wanted in terms of jewelry and wealth what she really craved for was attention and love from her father as her mother had died upon giving birth to her.
Slowly her sisters and other concubine mothers' started getting close to her in the name of wishing to rekindle fondly relationships, Huang Fei who had always yearned for attention her whole life thereby embraced them with open arms constantly inviting them for tea parties and introducing her other sisters into the social circle.
In return the sisters would constantly send her gifts showing their gratitude while the concubine mothers and Madams would gift her 'special' ointment for enhancing skin beauty, unknown to her that all those products were all poisonous, they were slow acting poison that had accumulated in her body due to her constantly using them.
(*Author sighs* I suddenly feel bad, why are they always poisoned?)
Finally, after a period of two good years she became very sick and had hopefully requested her father's presence for comfort.
However, her father felt that she was faking it in order to seek his attention and became so angry that he ordered that no doctor should ever visit her for whatever reason, he even went to the extent of engaging her to one of the king's nephews in order to gain more connections.
Her sisters only burned with more jealousy at this news so one day during a palace bouquet , her eldest sister known as Xiao Ming Zhi indirectly and publicly challenged her to a 'friendly' match with an excuse that her sister has never participated in any "dualuo competitions" since birth and that it was important for her sister's fiance to know his future wife's magical prowess rank!
Fa Mingxia couldn't help but scoff at this. What a lame excuse!
(N/B: Dualuo competitions are also known as friendly matches or in other word is known as 'throwing someone a challenge'; remember this meaning does not occur in real life, it's fictional!)
Huan Fei's father was very angry about Ming Zhi's actions as everyone in the Xiao household knew that Huan Fei had a very weak cultivation to the point that her cultivation stopped when she was still at Martial artist stage.
However, seeing as Ming Zhi had publicly requested a friendly match, he felt he could not afford to lose face! and thereby ordered Huan Fei to participate in the competition and that if she refused, he would immediately disown her and sell her off to a merchant with the excuse that the daughters of the Xiao household are not Weaklings!
The night before the match, Huang Fei spent all night crying in bed at her misfortune as she readied herself for her impeding disgrace.
The day of the match finally came but before the match, Ming Zhi had already met up with her shedding crocodile tears that she did not mean to embarrass or disgrace her but that all this was forced upon her by her father as he was still angry that she was 'feigning her sickness'.
Huang Fei who had always been naïve and insensible believed her completely and even thanked her when Ming zhi had promised that she would take it easy on her during the competition.
To everyone's surprise, Ming Zhi really took it easy on her by whipping her only a few times with her purple Phoenix whip. However, to everyone's anger and dissatisfaction Huang Fei fainted after receiving about 3 lashes from the whip.
To Huang Fei, that was the most painful and torturous moments of her life, her cultivation was already very poor and most importantly she was already very sick, she even felt that it had been a miracle for her to have not collapsed after the first whipping speak less of the other ones as she couldn't even draw enough qi into her sword to fight throughout the match.
To her father and the audience, her actions were considered extremely disgraceful, as everyone finally understood just how weak and useless their second young miss was, the king's nephew felt extremely disgusted at the thought of marrying such a weakling and even saw Ming Zhi as a saint for taking it 'easy' on her during the match.
When Huang Fei's father noticed the drastic change of everyone's mood as well as the gossips and rumors of him trying to wed his useless and talentless daughter to the kings nephew while he kept his eldest daughter who was a Middle stage Martial Overlord and also a known beauty away from prying eyes, he couldn't help but quickly cancel Huang Fei's engagement while he replaced her with Ming Zhi thereby satisfying both parties.
Huang Fei laid on her bed out cold as sweat dribbled continuously from her body while she continuously shivered. This was a process that she always went through each night, but she didn't know why this night appeared to be a thousand times worse.
Pain radiated all over her body as she felt as though her whole body was being crushed by a thousand pounds, her blood felt hot all of a sudden as she whimpered quietly in pain knowing that even if she screamed out aloud, no one would hear her and even if someone did, that they still wouldn't help her.
The pain finally reached her heart causing her heart to beat multiple times a second, the constant contractions were so painful that she felt that her heart would burst out any second.
Finally giving in to the fact that she might actually die, she couldn't help but scream out loudly in anguish hoping that someone would at least come for her, she listened with hope as she heard footsteps come closer to her door, but her hopes were completely dashed when she heard the footsteps suddenly going further from her.
"Don't go..." she whispered painfully "...please, anyone help me, please father I'm dying" but when the pain became too intense, she couldn't help but finally give in to the darkness, to give in to her death with the only knowledge that since her birth to her death, she had always been alone and unloved.
Fa Mingxia's eyes wavered slightly when the memories came to an end. This person's fate was almost similar to her past life but what saddened her the most was when she realized that during the 'friendly match' Ming Zhi's purple Phoenix whip had been laced with 'dragons heart poison', a quick acting poison that burns off blood cells thereby causing the heart to contract impossibly fast in order to pump more blood.
This action however makes the heart so weak to the point that it could burst due to the multiple contractions or just stop at a point thereby leading to the victim's death. They had both died in the hands of their sisters in vile ways!
Fa Mingxia closed her eyes as she tried to ease the burning rage soaring in her heart, now not only does she have to take revenge against Wang Ye Rin and those that betrayed her but also against the entire Xiao household that was responsible for this injustice.
Although she had not planned for this, she couldn't help but curse the king of Yama in her heart for placing another burden on her shoulders!
The pain in her body somehow brought her back to reality as she realized that she had much more important things to take care of at the moment, which was expelling the poison out of her body and cleaning all her meridians.
She was just happy that this body would still be able to cultivate as long as she took spiritual medicinal pills and cleansed her bone marrows.
Another fact was that she was now in Jing continent which would slightly delay her plans.
(N/B: Remember that her past life was is in Xia continent where Wang Ye Rin is at currently and not Jing continent)
Slowly she sat up and started to randomly check her body for heavy injuries that required immediate treatment, a gasp escaped her lips when she saw a beautiful tattoo of a black snake on her legs just below her knees. This! -- she thought --- Yao Hei?
Fa Mingxia couldn't help the sinister smile that spread upon her lips at a new realization, she now had a Demonic Immortal beast! She carefully crossed her legs together as she started expelling the poison from her body with only a few thoughts running in her head
Hah! Even Yao Hei could easily destroy them without her wasting her energy! But who said she would grant them an easy death!
She would collect all her debts from both the injustice this body suffered in this life and the injustice she suffered in her past life! She would make the Xiao household pay with their blood while they suffer through eternal damnation!
And for her debtors in the Xia continent, she would put on a good show for them while watching the empire crumble to ashes! She, the demoness from hell would make sure they suffered a fate worse than a million deaths!
Hmmm perhaps this revenge would be easier than she thought but first of all; slowly her eyes opened revealing a beautiful shade of crimson before turning to a pretty shade of obsidian, her gaze shot straight towards the door where her 'supposed' trusted maid who was indirectly spying on her on her family's orders stood behind. A wicked smile graced her lips at the thought.
The Xiao household are in for a wonderful surprise!
