Giving in to inner demon: Natalia(4)

"Don't come near me....I said..stay away you lunatic.." Jordan clutched his hand that hurt like hell. He tried pulling out the shard of glass that was stuck on the back of his hand, his forehead sweating.

"Come here I will help you." Natalia offered to help him as she took another heavy step towards him.

"No need..don't come near me.." Jordan snapped at her his eyes full of hatred and anger.

"Hahaha...why do everyone rejects my offer to help....hehehe..why..just whyyy..." Natalai who was laughing suddenly started to sniffel. Tears fell down her face ruining the already ruined mascarra.

"It was Harith first who did not want the water I brought for him but drank the one brought by that bitch Lucia....Lucia;that venomous witch too denied my kind request and now even you want to deny my offer?" Natalia hiccuped since she was crying and talking at the same time.

'They are all trampling on your kindness...tsk tsk... they don't deserve it...BRING IT OUT, your true self and trample back at them.' The same cold and creepy voice whispered in her ear. But she had reached to that point where it had already started to sound like music to her ear. The one that brought inner peace to her.

"You are correct...gosh...how could I have been so blind?" Natalia gasped clasping her hands on her face her eyes staring at the man through the gaps in her between her fingers who was still trying to take out the shard of glass while his eyes were waiting for an opening to run away.

'I must have the worst luck in the world....damn it....why won't it come out???' Jordan cursed the whole situation. The shard was no big deal and it should not have been a big injury to him but his hands were trembling each time he tried to take it out.

Unknowingly, fear had already taken a deep root inside his heart when faced with such an unpredictable situation.

"He-ey.....Na-àt..lets talk this out hmm???" Jordan stuttered trying to buy himself some time but those damned steps did not stop.

"You just want to leave me alone, don't you?" Natalia whispered under her breath making it sound worse that it was.

"Yes .....err I mean..No..nO no.." Jordan at once changed his answer when he met the glaring mad eyes of the girl who gave him a piercing look.

What followed after was a shriek of a helpless man and an errie silence.

'Good job...' The voice whispered for the last time as it merged within the deep shadows.

"What are you doing here??" Lucia looked at the man in front of her who had shamelessly appeared at her house early in the morning.

"Didn't I say something about going somewhere.....hmmnn..Don't tell me you forgot?" Liam raised his eyes in a questioning manner. He was wearing a loose black hoodie and a loose comfortable trousers but his face and aura was as hideous and unaproachable as ever.

Lucia was wearing sweatshirt and a legging with a white towel around her neck. It was as clear as day she was jogging.

Lucia did not say anything. She turned around and went on her way. She really didn't want to have anything to do with unrelated people and especially not with the jerk who was following her at the moment.

"Do you always jogg around here in the morning?" Liam walked leisurely behind her. He was always behind her no matter how much she increased her pace. If he had worn a mask then he would have been no different from a stalker.

'Seriously...is he even showing effort?' Lucia glanced at the man getting her answer. 'Men and their godly long legs..Tch tch....they are just too lucky.'

Lucia did not answer his question but slowed down her speed since she did not want to burn out fast. She still had lots of things to do. Being a top actress was not as easy as it sounded.

Noticing her slowing down Liam thought she might be willing to speak with him now. He felt a little happiness in his heart but it was just for a moment. He didnt even realize that emotion.

"When are you free later?" He asked fiddling with his hairs that swayed in the morning wind.

"I am not free and I won't ever be free so forget about it." Lucia did not even try to sugarcoat her words directly rejecting him on his face. "And since when loan shark started to intervene in the private life of the debters?" Lucia halted and turned back facing him.

Now it was time for Liam to act as if he did not hear a thing. He ignored her question and walked towards her without opening his mouth.

Lucia just watched him walk past her only moving to the side when his hand almost hit her by mistake.

'Such a prick..' She glared at him. She was about to continue walking when she felt a prickling sensation on her neck. She turned back staring at a distance as if searching for something or someone.

"You are not coming?" He looked at the girl who stood in a daze.

'Hmm..ohh.' Lucia broke out of her daze. "Of course I am coming. You don't have to tell me." Lucia followed after him and quickly overtook him who just sighed helplessly looking at her childishness.

'That was weird...' Lucia had a bad feeling but she wished she was wrong. She could not handle another incident let alone a life threatening one.

The road was empty with only two or three other people around most of which were old couples coming out for fresh morning air. They walked in silence unsure as to what to speak next. Lucia dis not mind this peaceful bliss as long as she could feel the wind against her face brushing past her hair.

They soon reached a park. Lucia stopped and glanced at the big billboard that was featuring the present hot movie emperor.

There was a small shop that sold water bottles and chocolates. Thinking she was probably tired Liam went to buy a water bottel.

He picked a bottel from the new package and handed the money to the owner. "Hello sir..." He snapped his finger at the shopkeeper who was staring at Lucia the moment they came there. "Ohh Thank you young man." He smiled taking the money but there was urgency and some conspiracy hidden with in his voice.

Liam had returned back with the bottle. He wanted to go away from this place as soon as possible. He had seen the look that was in his eyes before as well.

Something was definitely wrong but he could not point out what. His instinct was screaming danger to him.

"Lucia....."He called her but got no response.

Liam followed her eyes landing on the potrait of a movie star. He wrinkeled his brow. "Do you have a crush on him or something??" He asked her mockingly. "He won't even spare a glance at you."

"He is the ladies man after all. Why won't I be interested?" Lucia joked trying to piss the man who just belittled her. She was just looking at the man who was her idol in her past life and even this life: The movie emperor Ryan Nicholas; a self made actor.

Liam darkened upon hearing her answer. He did not know why but he didnt like hearing her speak about some one else. "You.." He was about to say something when he suddenly widened his eyes.

"Look out." He shouted at her.

"Huh?" Lucia was about to turn her head to look behind her when she noticed something form the corner of her eyes.

A woman and some one she knew and she was smiling???

'What..what was that?' Lucia felt her head spin a total 180 degree. Her blackened senses finally returned her the light. Through her blur red vision she saw someone standing above her who seemed to be saying something.

'Is it the shark?? Why is he standing like that?' Lucia did not like seeing him right before her like that.

She tried pushing him away with her hands that for some reason had no Strength.

' What is he saying??' She strained her ears catching a few phrases.

"-ia....O--ky?...lis--n me?"

'What??' Lucia opened her mouth to speak but it felt as if someone had blocked her throat with a heavy stone. Was someone pulling her towel or was it really a stone??

Whatever it surely did not feel comfortable.

And what about the burden on her leg?? Why did it feel heavy?? Did a truck run over her?? Lucia's thoughts were in turmoil.

She did not feel any heavy impact but her ears were sure ringing.

'Ah that's why I can't hear him!' But what about the red liquid on her head.

She touched her head but found no any wounds or injuries.

'Ehhhh?? Where did the blood come from then?'

A woman looking at them from the shadows let out a small grin.

'It's not time yet, Lucia.'

Natalia stretched her body from where she was as she got up and she looked different from how she used to be.
