2 Waking Up On The Plane

"Eun-eun!" From the darkness, Eunice heard a familiar voice calling out her nickname. A nickname that only two people are priviledged to use. Not even her own family call her that. Her parents still called her baby even after reaching the age of twenty four. It only stopped when they had a fall out. Her brother on the other hand call her baby sis. Only her cousin Alice call her with her name in their house even though she had been living with them since Alice lost her mother at the age of ten.

Eunice unconsciously smiled and tear up the moment she heard the voice calling to her. Thinking that this is probably what she read in some novel, when a person dies their life will be replayed in front of them. It was Emily Zhang, her female best friend's voice. She was the last to leave her during her crazy times. She even helped her to some degree in wooing Zach Lu. But Eunice unknowingly touched Emily's reverse scale when she asked for their male best friend, Victor Guan's help.

Victor is a tech savvy guy with an IQ of over two hundred and is obssessed with games. That is why he started his own game developer company after they returned from studying business abroad at E Country. But his hidden talent is in hacking. He is even in the top ten all over the world. Knowing this, Eunice asked him to find dirt on Alice. Unfortunately, Zach found out so he crushed Victor's newly built business. He even almost ruin the Guan family's construction company if not for Victor begging him on his knees.

When Emily heard about it, for the first time she slapped Eunice and even called her crazy and cold hearted. That was also the day she learned that Victor is willing to do such risky thing for her because he loved her. Emily berated her for taking advantage of Victor's feelings then tossed him on the devil's mouth. She also confessed that she loved Victor and vowed to take Victor away from her and make him happy. On that day she lost two of her greatest friends.

While she is immersing on the memory of the past, she felt her body being shaken. It started soft and considerate. Gradually it became stonger until the person shaking her finally reached the limit of their patience. "Eun-eun!!" With a loud call merely a few centimeters away from her ear, Eunice felt like she was abruply fished out from the bottom of the sea and jolted awake. Her soul almost completely left her body hastening the process of her death.

With a groggy look and blurred vision, Eunice straightened her body on her seat. She would've jumped up if not for the seatbelt fastened around her waist. With a lost look she turned her head around as if trying to make out her current location and situation. She only stopped when a hand kept waving in front of her face. "Hey! Eun-eun! Snap out of it. The plane already landed. Vic already got our carry ons. Let's go." Emily said while helping Eunice remove her seatbelt.

"That was a bit harsh you know Emi. If Eun-eun has a weak heart should've had a heart attack with the way you wake her up." Victor chimed in.

"Can you blame me? I've been trying to wake her up for the last half an hour. See this seatbelt? I even have to put it on her under the gaze of that stewardess who looked like a school principal." Emily rebute back to Victor.

The confused Eunice looked back and forth between her two arguing bestfriends and slowly regained her focus. She then checked her own body. Last thing she remembered before she closed her eyes was her painfully mangled and bloodied body. But right now all the pain is not there. 'Am I dreaming? Do people fall asleep first before finally dying?' She questioned herself not believing the sight in front of her. That until she felt two warm hands cupping her face forcing her to look straight at Emily. Yes, they are warm.

"Hey! Hey! Are you okay? You didn't become stupid after being startled, are you? Don't scare us. I'm sorry Eun-eun." Emily, who finally noticed Eunice's odd behavior, panickly consoled her friend. Victor also lean over to ask if she is okay, glaring at Emily as if saying 'Look at what you did'. Which Emily only responded with a pout.

Feeling the warmth from her friend's touch that seem too real, Eunice finally realize she isn't dreaming. But she still gave herself a good pinch as proof. And when she felt the pain, she finally bust to tears. She's alive. And not just that, she went back in time on the day she went back home to S City. And her two bestfriend are here with her. Emily's hate filled gaze is back to doting one. Victor who disappeared without a word is still here.

God must've heard her plea and gave her a chance to redo her life from the moment it all started to go wrong. That's right, the day she returned home is the day her life went downhill. Because that was the day she met and fell in love at first sight with Zach Lu.

While Eunice is thanking all the Gods she knows in her heart, her two bestfriends became flusterred and went bananas seeing their youngest friend suddenly burst into tears. Emily consoled her more while rubbing her back. Repeatedly saying sorry for scaring her since that's what she thought was the reason. While Victor dropped most of the tissue paper he managed to pull out from the box in panic.

Seeing them like this, she finally gave them a warm smile through her tears. She then open her arms for a hug. Emily and Victor, with question marks in their head, instictively lean in for a group hug. This bizzare moment obviously remained in ther memory without ever knowing what trully happened to their friend.
