After staying in the hospital room for a while, Xia Yu and Xia Jun quietly left.
"Ah Yu, aren't you going to the company? I just called my superior and took a day off. I can take care of Ah Lei here. You go handle your matters first," Xia Jun said to Xia Yu once they were outside.
Xia Yu raised an eyebrow. He hadn't even noticed when Xia Jun had asked for leave.
He thought for a moment. It wasn't safe to be outside these days, and it was necessary to have someone here to take care of Xia Lei. Since Xia Jun had to go to work, it was actually more convenient for Xia Yu to stay and care for Xia Lei. Therefore, he planned to stay at the Spring and Autumn Medical Clinic for a while.

Xia Yu then entrusted Li Chunqiu with some tasks and headed to the company with Yan Shining.
Before long, Xia Yu arrived at the company, which was already open for business. He found Yan Wenhan and explained that he had personal matters to attend to over the next few days. Next, Xia Yu did not immediately return to the Spring and Autumn Medical Clinic. He needed to visit the Kowloon Stock Exchange to see Liu Tianci, not only to thank him for his help last night but also to discuss stock matters.
The car started again, and it wasn't long before they arrived at the Kowloon Stock Exchange.
"Mr. Xia, good morning. Was everything alright last night?" Liu Tianci asked with concern as soon as he saw Xia Yu.
Xia Yu smiled and shook his head, saying, "No issues, thanks. Everything is fine."
"By the way, I have some matters to attend to in the next few days, so I might not be here or at the company. If you need anything, call this number," Liu Tianci said, handing Xia Yu a piece of paper with the number of the Spring and Autumn Medical Clinic written on it.
Liu Tianci took the note, looked at it, and carefully put it into his pocket.
"Also, Mr. Liu, please sell off the shares of Dafang Real Estate and transfer all the money to my bank account after deducting the one million from last night. Let me know once the money has been transferred," Xia Yu instructed.
Liu Tianci nodded and smiled, "Don't worry, it's all taken care of."
"I have other matters to attend to, so I'll leave now. See you next time!" Xia Yu said as he prepared to leave the Kowloon Stock Exchange.
"Be careful!" Liu Tianci said sincerely, looking at Xia Yu with concern.
Although Xia Yu kept saying everything was fine, giving a contact number and not going to the stock exchange or the company made Liu Tianci suspicious. It was clear that something serious was happening, otherwise, Xia Yu wouldn't be so preoccupied.
Even though Liu Tianci was a good friend, he hoped Xia Yu would be alright since Xia Yu didn't explain further.
Xia Yu smiled, nodded to Liu Tianci, and then turned and left the stock exchange without looking back.
"Let's go, Brother Yan, back to the Spring and Autumn Medical Clinic!" Xia Yu said as he got into the car.
The car started again, heading towards the Spring and Autumn Medical Clinic.
With things taken care of, Xia Yu felt a bit more at ease.
Xia Yu sighed deeply, closed his eyes, and began to think while sitting in the car.
Just as they were turning at an intersection, Xia Yu opened his eyes to look out the window and was suddenly jolted.
He saw a truck speeding towards them from the side road.
Someone was trying to kill him!
Xia Yu reacted instantly. The truck driver had a determined expression, showing no sign of panic, indicating a premeditated attack!
However, the intersection was congested with many vehicles turning, making it difficult for Xia Yu's car to maneuver, and other vehicles were also frantically trying to avoid the truck.

"Boss, hold on!" Yan Shining, who had noticed the danger before Xia Yu, warned.

Xia Yu held tightly to the safety handle, placing his hope in Yan Shining.
In this situation, their only option was for Yan Shining to push through. Colliding with other cars was better than being struck by the speeding truck.
After all, a collision with a speeding truck would be fatal.
Seeing Xia Yu's car attempt to flee, the truck driver also swerved, trying to adjust the trajectory to hit Xia Yu's car. Xia Yu was now completely certain that the Ma family was behind this attack.

The truck was getting closer!
At this moment, Yan Shining slammed the brakes while turning sharply, making the rear of Xia Yu's Mercedes-Benz swing to the side.

Even though the windows were closed, Xia Yu could hear the intense screeching of the tires against the road surface.
Through the glass, Xia Yu saw the truck scraping past his car and crashing into another vehicle.

"Yes, don't take the same route. Use another road to avoid potential traps," Xia Yu quickly agreed with Yan Shining's suggestion.
This was a route Xia Yu frequently traveled. If they could set up an ambush here, there might be another one on the next stretch of road. Taking a different route back was safer.
"Hold on, Boss!"
Yan Shining said, starting the car again.
The police would arrive at the scene soon. Since Xia Yu's car hadn't been hit and the accident involved other vehicles, the police would be too occupied to concern themselves with Xia Yu's car.
