Music festival
The day of the music festival came quickly, as though time had been set on fast-forward.
The weeks had flown by in a flurry of rehearsals, last-minute changes, and nervous excitement. I worked along with the other performing club members to make the performance as flawless as possible.
As the festival finally arrived, the school's auditoria was packed, buzzing with the chatter and anticipation of students eager to watch the performances.
I stood backstage, peeking out from behind the heavy red curtain. Rows of students filled the seats, some leaning forward eagerly, while others scrolled through their phones, and some exchanged words with their friends sitting together. I smiled slightly and let the curtain drop.

"We're the second group of people performing today. Chen Jing will be performing a violin solo before us"
