If you want to keep growing you need to challenge yourself that's something Kenichi believes in and that's why he keeps challenging people that can help him grow. Hence the reason he decided to Challenge Elder Hayato.

Kenichi knew that he has more ki than Elder Hayato but that doesn't mean he was sure that he could beat him, after all the Elder had 108 techniques out of which he only knew 8 who knows what will bring out for him.

"It looks like you are really determined this time Kenichi" Elder Hayato said

"It's not about determination, I just want to find out how strong the Elder truly is" Kenichi said

"Hahaha if that's what you want than okay, I also want to know exactly how strong you have become." Elder Hayato said as he released his ki with his eyes shining

"That's why I chose this place, I didn't want anyone to intervene and this place is a deserted island after all." Kenichi said as he released his ki as well.

The spectators who have come to see this match are excited especially those from Shinpaku Alliance.

While the Masters of Ryozanpaku were also there. They were more focused on the fact that Kenichi skipped them and directly challenged the Elder.

Kenichi and Elder Hayato lunged at each other both of their first colliding with each other.

Came the noise and both of them were pushed back the exact 4 steps. Both of them used equal strength to punch the other but their ki was different even than the result was same.

"Looks like I need to get serious" Elder Hayato said as he dashed towards Kenichi and attacked at once.

The Four fingers of Elder came at Kenichi at full speed and he knew that there is a whole lot of difference in Elder using this technique and anyone else.

The moment before Kenichi was struck by the attack, he emits ki from all of his body's tenketsu to block it. He then spins rapidly, repelling the attack (and anything else in the vicinity) away and creating a protective shield. The greater the force of an attack, the greater the force with which it's repelled and Elder Hayato used a lot of strength in this attack hence he was thrown backwards.

Elder did a flip in the air and landed on his feet then looked at his fingers that he just used to attack, it looked as if they just rubbed against something hard and lost a layer of the skin. Elder Hayato was a little surprised as he knew how strong they were but just a single move of Kenichi left to this.

Kenichi stopped spinning and the rotational ki barrier also disappeared showing the area around him standing around a ditch as even the ground was repelled from it.

Seeing the Elder looking at his hand and not paying attention to him, Kenichi didn't let go of the opportunity and attacked.

The two attacks clashed and dissipated at once. Then Kenichi and the Elder Hayato rushed at each other with smiles on their faces and started to punch, kick, grab each other while deflecting, blocking and dodging the attacks as well.

"What the hell? When did he become so strong? I thought after becoming a Master the gap between us would lessen but it has only increased" said Kano Sho and he wasn't the only one who thought like that, beside him Natsu and Chikage who were watching the fight had the same thought.

"Don't compare yourself to anyone Sho, your speed is fast, while Kenichi is just faster" Hongo who was standing behind him said

"I heard that the brat made a bet with Kensei and other masters at Ryozanpaku" said Sogetsu as he took a swig of his alcohol from his gourd.

"What bet?" asked Natsu

"He said that he would defeat Hayato Furiniji in 6 years since joining Ryozanpaku. Even if he lost today I believe the chances of him winning the bet aren't impossible" Sogetsu stated

The three kids who heard this were shocked, as while they were thinking of Kenichi as their rival or someone they had to catch up with. He on the other hand had targeted the strongest human was that the reason for his growth like that, his mindset was different from them, hence his speed of growing was different from them.

Chikage was missing his master as she really wanted to ask about this but she hasn't met with her for a long time now. If it weren't for the fact that she finds notes from her teaching her about Kushinada Style she would have thought that her master and mother had abandoned her.

The Shinpaku Alliance members had the same reaction as Sho, Natsu and Chikage as just when they thought that the gap between them has become less, Kenichi destroyed that thought.
