379 379. Unexpected Gains

"Kaaaaaaaaaaaa meeeeeeee...

The three headed demon saw Kenichi gathering energy in his hand and the increase in his strength was really strong.

Ducking under a Eldritch Whip from Mordo and jumping away from a Energy Blast of Kaelicius, he rushed towards Kenichi to stop him from gathering any more energy.

"Haaaaaaaaaaaaa meeeeeeeeeeeee.....

But Kenichi didn't stop even when the three headed demon rushed towards him. Just as he was going to get attacked by the demon a portal opened between the two causing the three headed demon to pass through it and appear right infront of the two worshipers who were continuing the ritual.

"Haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa....

Screamed Kenichi and released the ki wave towards the three headed demon and the worshipers.

The demon widened his eyes and released a stream of black fire towards the ki wave but it couldn't stop the ki wave for even a second and got destroyed by it, just like the demon who tried to use his body to stop the wave covering himself in black fire but couldn't stop the wave for more then few seconds.

"Aaaaaaaaaaaaa....." shouted the demon as his body got destroyed by the ki wave obliterating him and the two worshipers behind him, finally stopping the ritual.

"Haa.. haa.. huff..." Kenichi huffed releasing Kaio-Ken from himself and crouched on his knees almost losing his consciousness but he stopped himself and remained vigilant as the ancient one haven't reached the church yet so whatever was keeping her would be strong and he didn't wanted to get caught off guard.

"Well done Kenichi, you did a good work" came Ancient One's voice a portal opened in front of him and Ancient One came out of it no worse then wear.

"Where were you?" Kenichi couldn't help but ask when he saw her appear in front of him.

"Me! I was in the mirror dimension after taking care of few of these worshipers, I found out about, how there soul was getting used as a power to open the gate for hell. But then, I saw you and my disciples and thought this could be a great experience for you all in the field and decided to sit back and let you handle it and only interfere if you all are unable to take care of the situation." explained the Ancient One with a little smile.

sigh "You-"

Before Kenichi could finish his sentence he finally collapsed as the tension released from his body making him loosen up and all the pain and exhaustion followed.

"I am sure you will only grow with this experience Kenichi" said Ancient One as she looked at Kenichi laying unconscious on the ground.

After looking at Kenichi for few more seconds she turned her head to look at her two disciples and asked "Are you two okay?"

"We are good, Ancient One and we thank you for giving us a chance to face these monsters we promise that we will continue to grow and meet your expectations" said Kaelicius to which Mordo also nodded his head.

"Good than you can pick him up, we should get going. He will need some treatment seeing his injury won't be healing on its own." the Ancient one said

"Yes Ancient One" Mordo said as he walked towards Kenichi and picked him up by his shoulders nodding his head towards Kaelicius who returned the nod and opened the portal for Kamar Taj.

As the four of them returned to Kamr Taj, Kenichi was laid on a bed in a room and treated with their medicines.

After making sure that he would be okay they left him there so that he could rest.

What they didn't know was that he wasn't only resting but increasing his strength as well. One of the boons given to him by the reincarnation goddess was that whenever he was injured severely his strength would increase by a margin just like a Saiyan's does with a Zenkai boost, it's his advantage as a High Human, not only that he would gain the knowledge of other Z fighters as well.

Though it wasn't all of it as he would die or become a brain dead with all of their knowledge entering his mind at once so it would be given to him little by little.

The Reincarnation Goddess knew that even if she gave him all this knowledge it would take him a long time to stand against mighty Titans in marvel as an equal so she gave him all the help he would require in the future.

Currently Kenichi was learning the techniques of Krillian, Picolo/Kami and Korin the Cat Hermit though unlike Goku with whom he only had the knowledge of techniques with these guys Kenichi was even getting some experience in how to use them. He can't handle all of there experience as he would die if he takes even a single one of their whole experience which the goddess knew so she only gave him few experience so that it would be much easier for him to use these techniques unlike Goku's where he had to practice them a lot to get a hang of them and even now he doesn't use them much while fighting even after he had already learnt most of them.

Few hours later when Kenichi opened his eyes, he was shocked by the knowledge he has gained not only that, he could feel that there was a significant increase in his ki though increase in Ki doesn't always mean increase in power but since he is injured for now and can't feel his strength due to it, he doesn't know how much increase there is in his strength but even if it isn't much he won't be sad as the knowledge that he has gained from Krillian, Picolo/Kami and Korin is really more than enough.

Especially Korin, the cat Hermit had a lot of knowledge about martial arts in him but the most important one is the knowledge of growing Senzu Beans.

With this even if he has to fight more of these demons he won't worry about getting fatigued.

The properties of a Senzu Bean is highly versatile: fatigue disappears, stamina and ki reserves are restored, and they become full nourished. The nourishing properties are also so potent that one Senzu Bean can keep a person full for ten days, This property is also quite literal, as eating too many Senzu Beans at once can result in being painfully overstuffed. At the same time, some who have eaten the Senzu Beans have become hungry sooner, due to their naturally faster metabolisms (namely Saiyans).
