346. Educating Rachel

"What power?" came a voice from outside the room causing the three to turn their heads as they remember the voice belonging to Kenichi.

After returning from Kamar-Taj, Kenichi straight away went back to check on Rachel as he knew she would start causing trouble right after waking up, and knowing Renka she won't let her do that which may end up causing another fight between the two. Thankfully he returned in time as the two hadn't started fighting yet.

"Kenichi you are back, how was your training?" asked Miu with a warm smile on her face.

"It was good, thanks to Mikumo Kushinada, I felt death from such a close distance. It helped me more than I want to admit" said Kenichi with a smile of his own.

"It's fine to think of it as her good deed of the year," Renka said with a smirk

"Yeah, that would help," Kenichi said then turned his head to look at Rachel and asked, "Now where do you think you are going?"

"Where else, I am going to find my Maestro?" replied Rachel

"Tch... I thought you acted as an idiot never knew you really were one" Kenichi said while shaking his head

"What did you say?" Rachel roared

"You heard what I said" Kenichi shouted back making Rachel flinch. "After staying in Yami for so long, do you don't know how they work. Do you think they would let you go to search for your master just like that? Don't you know they are still searching for Brois but the only reason they can't find him is that he is trained to hide from them? Whereas you who only know how to attract attention do you think you will be able to hide like him and search for your master?" 

Rachel became silent as she knew that it wasn't possible for her to stay hidden from Yami and search for her master.

"So I won't stay hidden from them and instead go back to them. I am part of Yomi and if I prove that Luca Libra is strong then they may help me find them" said Rachel in a hopeful voice.

"You really do live in a fantasy world, don't you. The moment you go back they will decide to pass you onto the Yami member who doesn't have any disciples. Lucha Libra was already beaten there was no way that any of those proud martial artists would waste their time looking for your master. You have forgotten that they each have a disciple in Yomi just to prove that their martial arts are superior to others and when one of the masters loses a fight then the disciple doesn't have the right to meddle anymore. Moreover, your master's Lucha Libra was beaten by Ma Kensei's Chinese Kempo, a Katsujinken for them he is dead even if he is alive" Kenichi said

"No, I need to find my master. He is my family!" Rachel said

"Then what about your real family huh? Don't you know how worried your brother would be for you? Don't you know how much he cares for you? Do you think he would just sit back and do nothing when Yami decides to lass you onto Silkwat Jenazad since he is the only master without a disciple? You really are a selfish girl, you know. Even though your brother is stronger than you, he always does what you want never caring about himself and now you want him to throw his life for you as well. Do you even care about him at all?" asked Kenichi

"I do! Of course, I care about him. How can I not care about him when he is my little brother? I always protected him when our real parents wanted to lash out at us. I was always there for him but then Maestro came onto my life and saved me and took me under his wing, Ethan was also chosen by his master and with that, we were able to get out of our past but the ones who helped us were our masters so how can I forget him?" Rachel shouted as tears started to well up in her eyes.

"I never said to forget your master did I? You should know that your master was begging Ma Kensei to kill him at that time he didn't care about you because he had lost and the prison he is kept in is where he is going to stay for his loss. You should know it's much better than how Yami does, at least your master is alive and all not like many people who lost their family because of them" Kenichi said 

"Yami only wants Martial arts to retain its place in the society that has forgotten about it," Rachel argued 

"Yes, but in the process, it doesn't care how many kids like Rachel and Ethan they orphaned in the process. To them, only those who have martial arts talent should have the right to everything, they just don't want martial arts to be recognized they want it to dominate the world and for that whatever method they use doesn't matter to them. Whether it's to assassinate one congresswoman or bomb an entire ship filled with people" Kenichi said

"No, sacrifice is necessary in the process to make a better world for martial artists and the people in the ship weren't good people all of them have some connections in the criminal world otherwise they wouldn't have entered the ship" Rachel stated but the determination in her voice wasn't as strong as before.

"The better world you are talking about is nothing but the descent of anarchy. If there is no law against martial artists then wouldn't  people like Sigmaringen destroy many families without the consequences" Kenichi said

"He is different, we don't have the same-"

"You stand beside him and both your master stand beside his, I won't say that killing people is wrong otherwise death penalties wouldn't be happening but Yami doesn't just want to do that they want more than that a world where they could kill whenever they want that's what they want," said Kenichi as he stepped forward starting right into Rachel's eyes making her eyes waver for few seconds she turned her head to stop staring at them.

"Just rest, your brother knows you are here and he will come to meet you. Talk to him and then decide what you want to do?"
