Yawning loudly, Leon sat up and looked groggily around the place, it was then he noticed that he was no longer in the soul subspace.

The dream flashed in his mind, remembering everything, he mused to himself, 'So this is what Gladius was trying to explain to me back then'

By now, Leon was used to dreams like this, as ever since he was a kid he had been having plenty of dreams of his past life, sometimes, he would have a vision where Deus would be speaking to him.

At that time he knew Deus's name as he had heard it in his dream, but he never knew that he was the reincarnation of Deus and those dreams were the fragments of memories of his past life, But he kept this dream secret from everybody in the orphanage, except Lia, of course.

thinking about all this, he sighed before giving the surrounding room one more look.

"Am back." He muttered as everything that happened in the soul subspace resurfaced in his mind, Reminiscing the memories, he quickly moved out of the bed.

'Now, it's time to give the Adventurers Guild a visit'

Leon walked to the bathroom, preparing to bathe, brush his teeth, and put on something nice, he didn't want to wear clothes that would easily identify him as a slum dweller.

But then, he heard the System voice...

Use thy power as the Soul Mancer, call unto thee, the Souls of the Damned and they shalt heed thy call.

With this skill, the Power of Souls of the Dead shall be at thy beck and call.

The souls respond to your call in the form of glowing, translucent phantoms. And upon answering to thy call, temporary combine with them and you will be bestowed with their power!

1) You will be able to see the stats of the soul you beckon.

2) You would be able to get the affinity and the skill of the beast soul when combined with them.

3) You can only summon mundane souls

4) When merged with souls you can only deal with physical attacks, when the souls fight or attack for you they give soul attack and damage to the soul of your opponent.

5) As the Soul Mancer, you have the power to see Souls by activating your innate Divine, Spiritual eyes. You also can sense souls of the dead, [Soul Sense]

6) You can store souls in a secluded place in your soul subspace called, [Soul Prison]

Leon had a profound expression on his face as he looked at the blue panel before him.

As he didn't yet understand the skill info, he activated it.

"Come, ooh Souls of the Damned!" Leo said.

Seconds passed but nothing happened, Leo started to doubt if the skill itself was working in the first place.

But then he frowned,

He suddenly started having a strange feeling, as if someone he couldn't see was staring at him, it felt as though he wasn't alone in this room.

Looking around the room, he saw different humanoid, red, translucent, glowing, phantom-like silhouettes... He had no idea when or how they got here...

They all surrounded him, looking at him silently with their glowing white eyes, some of them were short the same height as a normal ten-year-old, while some had the height shape of an adult human.

He noticed two more walking through walls, passing through them as though the walls were air. They passed through the walls and then joined the gathering of phantom souls staring at him.

Leo was surprised at first, but he took hold of himself.

He suddenly heard the System's voice resound in his mind.

Hearing the System words Leo frowned. 'Could it be that a Boss gang fight took place?'

Leo was just guessing, he is not quite sure yet, as though in slums, such huge amounts of deaths like this come from gang fights, there is still a small chance that the deaths didn't come from gang fights. Nevertheless, Leo did not bother himself with this but focused on the situation at hand.

"Hello, can you guys speak?" he asked the human phantoms that surrounded him, looking at him without moving an inch, as though they were statues.

"..."

A deafening silence ensued as none of the silhouettes moved or said a single word, they just stood like statues, their eyes, not leaving Leon even for a second.

'Well Fuck'

Leon was expecting something like this, but he'd be lying if he said he was not disappointed.

Giving the Prompt in front of him one more look, Leon dismissed it, he would check the other skill once he was done with this one.

'So I can merge with them, I just need to give them an order, well, let's do it then'

"Come! Phantoms of Human souls, Merge with me!" Leon's voice reverberated in the surrounding room, his words sounding like the chant from a sorcerer.

As his words reverberated in the surroundings, the Humanoid soul phantom that surrounded him silently ran to him from all sides.

Knowing that they did not have a physical body calmed Leon's heart a bit, but he was expectant as to what could be the result of all this.

Reaching a few meters close to him, the phantoms turned to red specks of lightning light that strike like lightning to Leon.

The entire thing was silent, not a single sound could be heard in the room, and by the next second the process was done, and Leo could be seen looking at his body.

He felt as if a powerful force of energy was coursing through his body, he felt ever so powerful!

But that wasn't the reason why he was looking at his body, he was looking at his body because he was glowing, he was fucking glowing red, it was as if his entire body was coated with a soft, translucent glow of red.
