The Golden Pendant

Time passed and with the sun shining at Shinis body. It was the next day in the evening. She stood up while looking at her surroundings, there she saw the dead minotaur right in front of her with red blood all over the body with her sword still stuck in the dead body. She also saw the caravan in the distance where the minotaur overwhelmed the guards and killed the princess.

She took her sword, while she felt disgusted by the sight of the minotaur she could hold on as to not vomit immediately. Then she walked towards the massacre that took place near the caravan. She glanced at the dead guards who tried to protect their princess.

"Why did they even took this route?" Shirinerristhought to herself.

Not thinking too much into the matter she walked inside the carriage to see if there is something useful. As soon as she walked inside she was outside. The sight inside the carriage was too much for her to handle. So in just a mere seconds she threw up. It took her about half an hour to regain her vigour back.

"I will never go inside there again!" She swore to herself, clenching two fists with both of her hands.

Then she went towards one of the dead guards and searched it, after a while she searched through all of the bodies which totaled up to 6 guards, 1 princess and 2 maids. She found a number of what could be useful objects and some food and water. She also found something like a golden pendel, but she didn't knew what the purpose of this golden pendel was nethertheless she took it with her in case it was something important.

"The leather armor as well as the small dagger could be useful when I have to fight some animals or monsters inside this forrest."

"I guess I should walk alongside this dirt road. It maybe leads outside of this thick forest."

Thus she took some of the food outside of her newly found backpack and started to eat it. While it was only bread for her it was quite delicious.

After what seemed like an eternity, she saw a wide open grassfield infront of her. Enthusiastically she took a glance and saw a village about 2000 metres away from her, if not for the wooden fence around it she would have probably not seen it.

She started to sprint to the entrance of the village and found out that the wooden gate was guarded by two man clad in leather armor.

"Stop! Who are you and what is your purpose?" One of the two man asked to Shirinerris, while both of them drew their spears at her.

"My name is Shirinerris. I came from the forest behind me." She told the guard.

"Do you have a travelling tokken with you or an adventurer token?" The other guard asked.

She crammed inside her backpack after a while she found what she was looking for: the golden pendal!

"Here." She took the golden pendal and showed it to the two guards.

All of a sudden the two guards were shocked beyond belief. How in the name of the ten gods did this girl have a golden token. The golden token was reserved for only the royal family, the head of the church and a few of the most prominent people of the country. You would get instant access to every town or facility and most of the times for free!

"Ms Shirinerriscome inside sorry for taking your time." The guard who took the golden pendal told her with an attitude that was completely different from before.

He also gave her the golden pendal back and took her inside the village while the other guard remained at the wooden gate.

"Ms Shirinerris if you want somewhere to stay the night I can take you to the village chief."

"If that is ok with you that would be nice." She spoke to the guard with a smile on her face. She did not expect that this golden pendant would be this awesome!
