Chapter 14 : You Won't Regret It

Mu Lan invented this trick after years of experience.

Since many people don't pay attention to antiques rather than the actor hired, the antique is placed back in the shop after 2 to 3 months.

The reason for Chi Ai to visit here is to make money and visit Mu Yang.

Mu Yang on the surface is a gentle and kind guy.

He is innocent and naive who doesn't have many tricks under his sleeves.

But in reality, he is like a poppy flower, a beautiful flower yet a poisonous one too.

Having the ability to live through the internal conflict of Mu Family shows that he is not a simple guy, which he shows on the surface.

Chi Ai went to the shop, she started scanning her surrounding with jade eyes.

As she did it, a dusted old-looking porcelain plate caught her attention, it had a light green layer of mist surrounding it.

Chi Ai walked there elegantly, as she placed the porcelain plate in her hand she felt a wave of cooling sensation in her body.

Showing some hesitation on the surface, she placed the antique in the basket.

Moving forward, again a somewhat broken bracelet in the corner of the shelf drew her attention. Same as before it too had a small layer of light green layer of mist.

She placed the bracelet and earrings which were lying together with it in her basket. She did not want to attract an audience towards her and so she bought them too.

As she was moving, she felt two pairs of eyes on her, she turned around to see who the person was.

A guy wearing a childish expression was staring at her, he had a sharp light in his eyes, but when he noticed the woman turning and staring back at him, he immediately wore those childish expressions back.

The guy was handsome and charming, he was wearing a blue printed T-shirt and black pant. His facial feature was well defined and he had a fair complexion.

The guy smiled at her childishly and Chi Ai who was in the woman's disguise smiled back too.

Chi Ai turned around and walked towards the second floor, as floor no. gets increased the price of antique increase too.

On the second floor, there was much less crowd.

She once again started her shopping spree, nearing the end of the second floor she had 30% of real antiques in her basket.

If she was not wrong on the third floor, there won't be many real antiques except for one which will be used as today's tool to fool the people.

But she was not going to let this happen. She reached the third floor and scanned her surrounding in a non-hurried manner.

A pot that was shining brightly had a semi-medium amount of light green mist was lying in the most unnoticed corner.

From the looks of it, the actor has yet to arrive, she reached the location of the pot and started revolving around it.

As expected she saw a red cloth in the pot, without much effort she tripped herself and removed the red cloth.

She acted as if she was clumsy and placed the red cloth in another pot.

She had no plan to buy pot, as the pot will definitely attract Mu Lan's attention, that is the last thing which she wants.

This act of hers didn't attract much attention but it does attract a pair of eyes.

The guy with a childish expression was staring at her with interest in his eyes.

Chi Ai noticed it too but she didn't react, in fact, she knew the guy.

He is Mu Yang, he has good eyes for antiques but was never acknowledged by Mu Lan.

Mu Yang has a story too. When he was born his father didn't acknowledge him and so he only had his mother by his side, at the tender age of 8 he lost his mother. His father had no choice but to recognize him as his son. Entering the Mu Family, he at a first glance knew that he was not welcomed here. So to reduce his presence he pretended to be mentally challenged.

When he was 15 years old, he became interested in antiques and started learning about them, he once tried to show his talent to his father but alas! his father didn't take him seriously. He hated his father more now. In the absence of his father he suffered for 8 years and even in the presence of his father he is suffering too by the hand of his stepmother and stepsiblings.

He planned revenge on him but due to lack of resources, network and money, he can only watch him.

In the original novel, Mu Yang and Chi Ai never had a friendship, but he did help her once. But before Chi Ai could return his favor he died in a scheme planned by her stepmother.

Since she wanted to return the favor, she decided to help him.

Chi Ai wanted to help him as well as use him, and therefore while passing by him, she handed him a chit in his hand.

Mu Yang was shocked to receive a paper in his hand, but he didn't show in on his face.

Reaching a corner far from the crowd, he read the paper.

'If you want revenge meet me in the dark alley outside' At first Mu Yang thought that he won't visit but due to the next line he changed his decision, resulting in a change in his fate.

Chi Ai bought the antiques but did not appraise them at this moment. She spent nearly a million. But she was sure that this antique was enough for her to earn 4 million.

At the dark alley,

Chi Ai walked in and said, " You won't regret it."

Indeed he won't regret it, in fact, he would be joyful of this decision in near future.
