Eveline let out a painful cry. The sensation brought tears to her eyes, her lips quivering, and she held back from moaning any further.
Gabriel came to a halt when he observed tears streaming down her cheeks. He assumed she would be able to manage it, but he was mistaken. Perhaps a finger was sufficient, or maybe nothing.
"Should I stop?" He inquired, his voice full of anxiety.
If making love to Eveline proves to be an agonizing torment for her, Gabriel may distance himself from her and refrain from proceeding with the kiss.
Eveline shook her head in haste, tears still streaming down her cheeks, and refused his words.
"No, don't. I believe I can manage it," she murmured, despite the stinging agony that appeared to lessen gradually.
Gabriel remained motionless while watching her expressions change from painful to tranquil.
