Meeting Jack
After a five days, Angel has accustomed to her life. Today she is going for a check up in hospital, after that she will visit her parents.
In the hospital garden, Angel and Kelly are strolling after her check up. Many patients are there for a walk. The rows of trees amd flowers makes the scenery very pleasing to the eye.
"Angel, you should take a walk like this more often. It feels really refreshing. Though your identity does not allow to go far but you cam take a walk in your apartment compound. You don't have to worry about anything....."
Angel turned a blind eye to the chatterbox and looked ahead. Pausing for a bit she rushed out.
Kelly noticed that the person beside her ran to the front and followed as well.
Angel didn't cared about her high heels and rushed to catch the little boy who fell from the tree branch. Both of them fell to the ground and Angel subconsciously protected the little boy in her arms.
"Angel are you okay??" Kelly asked while panting.
"Yeah...my back hurts a bit". Angel looked at the boy of about seven years old curled up in her embrace.
"Hey little guy are you alright?" Angel patted the boy's cheek softly.
The little boy looked up with his chestnut brown eyes laden with unshed tears. The boy was too cute and adorable just like curved from jade. Combined with the tears he looked very pitiful which could soften anyone's heart.
Not getting any answer Angel asked again worriedly, "Are you alright? Did you get hurt anywhere?"
Aware of the worry of the other party the little guy shook his head.
Angel sighed in relief. They sat on a nearby bench and Angel placed the little guy on her lap. "What's your name?"
The little guy apparently still not familiar with them replied with some hesitation, "....Jack".
"What were you doing here?? Where are your parents? Are you here alone?" Kelly asked.
Jack sank into Angel's embrace more from all the questioning.
Angel gave Kelly a look then patted the boy's head.
" Its alright. You can tell us the reason for you being here, maybe we could help..?"
Jack looked looked up to the pretty sister who saved him. 'Mommy told me not to talk to stangers but this pretty sister seems nice. Her hug is also very warm.....just like mommy's...' Jack pointed at the tree branch from where he fell off, "That..".
Angel and Kelly looked at the direction and found a yellow balloon of lion shape stuck in there.
"You wanted to pick up the balloon?"
Jack nodded.
Kelly sprang uo from her seat. "You both wait here I will ask help from the hospital staff to pick uo the balloon."
"Be quick". Angel reminded her.
"Right right." Kelly left to the hospital building.
Meanwhile, Angel continued interacting with the little guy.
"So with whom did you come here?"
Jack once again sank into her embrace to take in her scent. After a while he replied with a soft voice, "...Grandpa Leo."
Angel thought that he was probably a friend of his grandfather. "So where is he now?"
Jack stiffed for a moment then tightened his arms around her and kept quiet.
"Well....did you ran away?" Angel guessed when she didn't get an answer.
Jack immediately looked up to her, "How do know?" Except his Mommy no one could guess his thoughts but this pretty sister knew it. Could it be she would leave him as well for not being a good boy? Thinking upto here he closely observed her with unspoken fear.
Angel looked at the fearful guy in her lap with some helplessness. Such a young boy always having such fear! She smilled sweetly at the boy and said, "Rest assured I will help you find him, is that okay?"
Jack saw her smile and felt as if she was a fairy who came from the heavens.
Seeing the cute look on his face Angel couldn't resist pinching his cheeks.
Jack shyed away due to this gesture.
Angel melted into a puddle of sweet seeing the cute boy.
