Part 9

That night the family gathered together, and nothing unusual happened. Joe Wang has expected that a cold reaction from his sister would happen when his parents called her home, but he never did mind it. After dinner, he told them his plan and that he needed to stay out for a week.

After telling them his plan, his mother immediately reacted.

"Why do you want to go out again? I thought you said that you're not going to go out anymore?" Mei Lu suddenly said while feeling aggrieved at his son for not considering her feelings.

When Joe Wang heard this, he too felt a little helpless. But then he still showed a smile. He needed to appease his mother so that he can go through with his plan to regain a part of this cultivation. Since this world is just like Earth, and after talking with his parents for a while. Joe Wang's goal was changed suddenly.

He could not become too strong as it would attract greater danger to him and his own family. So his goal was changed to just having sufficient strength to protect himself and his family. He now wanted to experience growing up with his parents because now he is not in a rush to regain his old cultivation back. At least for this second chance in life, he wanted to live it to the fullest.

"Mom, I can understand how you feel and I'm sorry that I have worried you thus far. But I won't disappear again okay? Right now, I'm just asking for your permission. It would just take a couple of days, plus you can call me every day. I just needed to do this as I have promised this to my master." Joe Wang said.

"Can't you just do it at home?" Mei Lu asked while showing a concerned expression.

"Do you want our home to be filled with the smell of medicinal herbs and some weird stuff? Plus, I needed a clear and wide space to practice; our home is too small for that. Don't worry as my master's friend's house is a little spacious so it's okay for me to practice there." Joe Wang reasoned.

"Plus, I can try to craft something for the both of you, this would be my present as a sign of my filial piety. So, what do you want?" Joe Wang said trying to bribe his way out.

Though still a little suspicious, his mom and dad give in. But his sister just sits on the corner and didn't even want to listen to the conversation the three are having. Right now, she is a little ticked off from what had happened and she is trying to blame Joe Wang for worrying her parents too much.

"It's up to you son. The three of us will just accept whatever you make." Mei Lu said while holding her son's hand.

Father Wang also nods his head towards Joe Wang in agreement with what his wife said.

"Alright, I promise you that I would make the best gift for both of you." Joe Wang said with a smile.

He has already gained something precious and has raised his cultivation. But he still needed more resources to further improve his strength to a sufficient level.

To do that, he actually thought of three ways.

First is selling off some normal things that he crafted. The result of this would be okay, but it would take him more time and energy. Plus not many people would buy it, so it would not be too profitable.

The second is to use his spiritual sense and find antiques or bet on stones. This second idea would be profitable, but he didn't want to gain attention right now. Plus it would require him to have money to be able to buy those things.

So his last option is to make pills. Though he is not well acquainted with the flora of this planet yet from what he observed, everything in here is almost just like on earth. So he is not worried about anything, he can just use his absolute sense to determine the composition of any plants and use them as he like.

With this cheat-like ability, Joe Wang is sure to make himself some money in no time.

But all these things needed time and effort. And he must keep a low profile as to not attract more unsavory characters. He has already had a conflict with a gang. If there is another one, then he didn't know how he can keep his family safe.

The next day, Joe Wang left his house and says his farewell to his parents and sister. Though a bit reluctant, the two actually liked the changes in their son so they relent. They have already seen his talent and ability so they are not worried that their son would be bullied outside. Plus he has a secret master protecting him from the shadows as Joe Wang said, so the two felt a little convinced.

After running for a while, Joe Wang arrived in Melissa Krin's house. He then found that the door is actually locked from the inside. So, he knocked on the door but no one answered. He did this a couple of times but still to no avail.

So Joe Wang used his absolute sense to determine the locking mechanism of the door. He then carefully formed a key from a metal object which he removed from the window grills. After opening the door, put it back to the window grills and immediately walks inside the house.

As he reached the living room, Joe Wang was suddenly dumbstruck as he stops on his track. His eyes are glued on the figure lying on the sofa. Around the young and attractive figure are rubbish of takeout food she had eaten and from the looks of it, she didn't even clean up. But what dumbfounded him the most is the ambiguous position of the young woman.

His eyes can't take themselves off upon seeing the contour of her thin nipples from her thin sleeveless shirt.

If he is a normal young man without his problem, then he would have his manhood already rising to the air. But no… even after looking at the attractive figure he still felt nothing.

"Damn you… Why? Why?" Joe Wang lamented in his misfortune.

"Why can't I have entered a normal body… this body has a handsome face but manhood is truly useless… Huhuhu…" he thought as he lamented while continuing to feast his eyes on the sexy figure of Melissa Krin.

As a woman with a half western and half eastern origin, her beauty is truly something to behold, not only her beauty but also her body. Her wide hips complemented her slender waist along with her well-developed bosom.

"She truly is a beautiful and attractive woman." Joe Wang muttered with helplessness in his eyes.

After a while, he then dejectedly walks towards the mess around the living room table and carefully cleans out everything. With his light steps, not even a hint of a sound was heard even after he removes the rubbish.

After sleeping for a long time, Melissa Krin was awoken by some sweet aroma in the air. The smell of something delicious wafted throughout the whole house. Then her eyes suddenly open in disbelief after realizing something. Though she is still a bit sleepy, still she immediately grabs a pillow on the sofa and covers her front as a reflex.

"He… he's back!" Melissa Krin immediately sat up from the couch and directly turned his still hazy gaze to the kitchen.

When she saw the figure of a tall young man busily yet silently preparing breakfast food in the kitchen her eyes suddenly turned teary. She didn't know why, but she already missed this handsome young brother of hers. Though he was gone for just a day, yet she didn't know why she already missed him. Maybe because whenever she sees his face, she would almost immediately felt a tinge of happiness in her heart.

She then stood up and wanted to go to Joe Wang, but suddenly she noticed her reflection in a small mirror. Upon seeing her clothes she blushed and wanted to run to her room. But then she immediately stopped and thought of something.

"Wait a minute… how did he get in… and… and don't tell me he saw me in these clothes? No way… this is too embarrassing… wait… if he saw me and did nothing, then is he not attracted to me? Am I not beautiful enough for him? This… this is too frustrating! That guy is such a… hmm… I… I'll teach him a lesson. I can't let this slide." Melissa Krin thought as a mischievous idea came to her mind.

She then pouted and decided to tease Joe Wang. She didn't know why, but she knew that he would not do anything that would hurt her, so with confidence, she put down the pillow and carefully walks towards Joe Wang without being ashamed of her thin and almost revealing clothes.

"This woman is too naughty. Is she trying to seduce me?" Joe Wang thought as he already knew that Melissa Krin is already awake and is currently walking towards him.

With his sharp senses and even without using his absolute sense, he already knew what Melissa Krin is planning to do something.

But before she can come closer he foiled her plan.

"Please get dressed, we are about to eat breakfast." Joe Wang calmly said while his back is still facing her.

"What? You… you knew that I was already awake? Not fair… I think when I was sleeping you sneaked a peek on me right?... Right? You pervert!" she said while walking closer to him.

When she reached his back, she started poking his sides while teasing Joe Wang like an older sister.

"Hey, what are you doing? Stop that…" Joe Wang said as he tried to dodge while his concentration still on the thing he is cooking.

Joe Wang was actually already done with the dishes a while ago and decided to try and concoct a simple pill.

Since he didn't want to waste the natural energy in his spheres, he decided to just use the stove to do it.

He needed to concentrate on his work so he didn't have time to entertain Melissa Krin who is currently trying to tickle him.

Suddenly a heavenly aroma once again drifted through the air.

"That smells good… what is that? Why… why do I feel like my body is light?" she muttered as she carefully closes her eyes trying to savor the aroma and the feeling.

Unknown to her, her body started to move on its own like it was enticed by some enchantment making her unconsciously walk near Joe Wang.

While this is happening, Joe Wang has already finished concocting the pill and carefully put five pills inside a semi-transparent glass bottle that he casually crafted.

The batch of pills that he has concocted is made from simple ingredients that he saw inside Melissa Krin's kitchen and around the house. He had made them by combining those ingredients with some synthetic medicine.

And the result of that is a pill which Joe Wang called the Body Invigorating Pill.

The pill works like an energy drink but 100 times better. Each pill can invigorate one's body by removing all of the fatigue accumulated of both mental and physical. The effect would immediately be felt in just a couple of seconds after eating the pill. Though the consumption of the pill would be limited to one pill a day, as the subsequent pills after the first one within that day would have no effect anymore, it would still be enough for a person to fully recover and maintain his or her energy for 24 hours.

Joe Wang made this for himself as he needed it for when he would start to concoct more pills.

"What are those?" the cool and soothing voice of Melissa Krin suddenly asked from behind Joe Wang.

"Ah, these? These are Body Invigorating Pills that I just made. I would need these for my next plan." Joe Wang explained while appreciating the pills inside the bottle.

"Body Invigorating Pills… Hmm… Nice name." Melissa Krin said with curiosity in her eyes.

"I haven't heard or seen any pills that can make one's mind clear just by its smell… that feeling I have a while ago is so nice. Hey, can you give me one? I want to try it." Melissa Krin asked as she stretched her forth her hand with her palm upwards towards Joe Wang while she made him turn around facing her.

But Joe Wand suddenly stood rooted as his eyes inadvertently took a peek at Melissa Krin's attractive light pink nipples as she is in an awkward leaning position.

Upon realizing where Joe Wang's gaze is, she too froze.
