Chapter CXLIII - Solving a Puzzle
Kanag hissed in anger at Marcus, gripping its still bleeding eye socket before slithering away.
Marcus shuddered at the thought of being eaten alive by the wyrm. He stared over at the bloody eye, recalling the incredible alchemical capabilities dragon bodies had, and decided to take it with him.
As he picked it up, a notification rang inside his head:
<Dragon's Eye Received!>
<Would User like to exchange the eye?>
<Yes/No>
'What the..?' Marcus thought to himself, 'exchange the eye..? What could that possibly mean?' He leaned against the rock, holding the massive eye in his hands and staring at it intently.
"Yes!" Marcus said, ultimately deciding that it must be a good idea, and since Iris didn't stop him, it shouldn't be dangerous.
<Left or Right?>
"Huh..?" Marcus asked aloud, 'What does it matter?' He thought to himself, 'It was Kanag's left eye, so should I choose left..? What if the opposite is better?'
"Left!" Marcus replied.
