Marcus spent the next few days clearing trials nonstop. While he was on the lower trials, he did some quick math and calculated that he would need to clear between sixteen and seventeen trials per hour or roughly 310 trials a day in order to successfully complete the task of 10,000 within a month.
On his first day, he took things casually, not pushing himself, but once he realized how daunting the task actually was, he began to force himself to clear trials as fast as possible. He exceeded his goal and completed the first 400 trials on the first day before returning to his room. He knocked out the remaining 514 for the first floor on the second day.
Upon completing the first floor, his clothing changed from a pure white to a bright yellow. He felt highly awkward wearing yellow and white clothing, but he ignored the sensation.
