Chapter 11

"You shouldn't be asking too many questions. If you focus hard enough on passing the first trial as you are focusing on getting so many random questions answered, maybe you would be able to answer them yourself." The ghostly child-like figure appeared once more as it gestured for the golem to leave. Now that Tim's life was clearly no longer in any kind of danger, there was no need for the golem to remain present.

"You keep mentioning passing the first trial, but after sparring a bit with that wolf golem, do you really think I am anywhere close to being able to challenge that trial?" At this point, Tim's entire outlook on the trials of the legacy of the master of this estate world, seemed like a pipe dream. It was as if no matter how hard he tried to train for it, there seemed to be no way for him to fully be prepared to tackle it, let alone pass!

"I have spoken to quite a few figures within this estate world and your performance against the wolf golem showed us that you are correct when you claim that you are nowhere near ready for the trials. Therefore, once you are finished healing up, I will allow you to leave without taking the trials and instead, head back into the outside world where you are to temper your newly found foundation."

Hearing what he was being told, Tim's pale face started to blush slightly showing a hint of color. He was unsure why the ghostly child-like figure would choose to allow him to leave like this, but at the same time he was very grateful towards it. At the very beginning, it had told him he could not leave until he either died or passed the very first trial. Yet, now it seemed that a particular rule that was apparently set in stone had changed just like that!

"The fact is, you seem to be capable enough to tackle the trials of this estate world but you will need time until it is guaranteed. During your match against that little doggy, your heart was greatly shaken which means that you have the potential but that you are also being held back in some ways. We here feel that until you are able to settle some of these things within your heart, you will have no chance and will die here in vain."

"So please, do us all a favor and go out and handle such matters and return here quickly. Master's legacy is a very powerful one considering who he was as he made this estate world for future disciples. Countless powerful empires across the world would flock here if they heard that our master left this estate world here."

After listening to the ghostly child-like figure, Tim spent a few hours resting composing himself and finally stood up and began to gather all of his things. During his time in the estate world, Tim was able to also spend time searching for different types of items like special plants, some trinkets, among other things like ingredients for food and wine that were hard to come across in the outside world.

Once he finished gathering all of his belongings, Tim quickly made his way into the main hall of the estate. This was where he originally arrived in and waiting for him were actually the wolf type golem as well as the ghostly child-like figure. Both were speaking mentally to one another as they both looked towards Tim. Clearly they seemed to be arguing about something but to Tim, it could have been anything so he ignored the scene.

"So, I am guessing that I can just leave by asking at this point?" Tim asked both figures before him with a confused but content look in his eyes. What was concerning was that both figures actually shook their heads before looking at each other once more. It seemed as if they had yet to finish the conversation they were having earlier on before Tim arrived.

"Please take this, with but a thought you will be able to enter and exit this estate as long as you are close enough to it. I am not entirely sure where this estate world is located compared to the outside world, but I hope that it is in an area you will not have a problem finding in the future and being able to frequent."

"Also, keep in mind that it has been about one year and one month since you have first entered into this estate world, but compared to the outside world, this estate world's time functions much differently. So although you have spent such a long period of time in this world, in actuality it has only been roughly three months in the outside world. You do however look extremely different than you did when you first arrived so I doubt anyone would recognize you unless you wanted them to."

"Just in case, this wolf next to me made a good suggestion. Here, try this outfit on because with it, even your intent will be changed slightly. And I would recommend of course keeping your original name in your past life 'Tim' and to maybe change some of your plans you had before arriving here."

The ghostly figure handed over a good leather armor type outfit to Tim and so Tim immediately changed out of his current armor to try it on. It may have been a leather type armor, but that was only how it looked from someone's naked eye while it really was a solid full steel armor set which was slightly stronger than the set of armor that Tim had worn beforehand. With this change of armor and Tim's now long blonde hair, he truly looked much different compared to before!

"Thank you, both of you for your kindness." Tim could only respond to those before him in this way. They did not have to do as they had just done and yet he was clearly being given some form of favoritism. The only issue at stake for the present, was that three months was a very long time considering what he was in the middle of before finding himself teleported here. "I will come back as soon as I can and will not tell anyone or let anyone follow me on the way!"

"Hmph, do not even think about coming back until you get your shit together you stupid ant!" The wolf type golem was upset that his side was outvoted and that Tim was allowed to leave the estate world. In a way, it felt that its chance to spar endlessly with Tim to relieve some of its boredom had come to an end and there was a very high chance given Tim's demeanor, that he would not be coming back.

And so, Tim finally poured but a thought into the small token he had and a portal leading out of the estate world appeared. After nodding and smiling towards the golem and the child-like ghostly figure, Tim stepped into the portal and found himself yet again in the middle of the forest which was only about five to six hours of travel from his original destination with the squad he was with from Maplewood Township.
