Confidences and transformation

After a long day spent training and exploring the forest with Lysar, Kito returned home in the late afternoon, eager to share his new discoveries with his family. He found his grandfather, mother, and father, Darius, in the kitchen, preparing the evening meal. He smiled, feeling fortunate to have such a loving and close-knit family.

After dinner, they all gathered in the living room, giving Kito time to collect his thoughts before telling them about Lysar. His grandfather, an impatient man always on the move, was for once wise and calm, watching him attentively, while his mother, kind and warm, encouraged him to speak up. Darius, Kito's father, was a strong and protective man who had always closely followed his son's progress.

"I have something important to tell you. It's about the egg that Grandfather gave me some time ago. I think you should know what came out of it."

Curious, his mother and father looked at each other, not even knowing that his grandfather had given him an egg. His grandfather, on the other hand, with a sly smile, seeing the astonishment of Kaliana and Darius, listened carefully as Kito told them how Lysar, the little dragon, had hatched from the egg and how she was growing rapidly.

"Well, here's Lysar."

Kito brought the little dragon out of the alternative dimension of the ring. His mother and father looked at her in astonishment, while Nerio, though surprised, seemed impressed.

"She's beautiful!" Kito's mother exclaimed, while his grandfather, a proud smile on his lips, nodded in agreement. Darius took a deep breath before speaking.

"Kito, dragons are powerful and mysterious creatures. I hope you realize the responsibility this entails."

Kito nodded solemnly. "I know, Father. But Lysar hatched from this egg, and I will do my best to take care of her."

Kaliana, Kito's mother, turned to Nerio, her father-in-law, with a questioning look. "Why didn't you tell us about this egg? How did you know it contained a dragon?"

Nerio, Kito's grandfather, wore a thoughtful expression and then answered in a calm and composed voice. "To be honest, I didn't know what was inside the egg. I only felt a powerful and mysterious energy within it. I thought that Kito, with his talent and determination, would be able to hatch whatever was inside and help it in the future."

Darius, Kito's father, frowned slightly, worried. "I'm surprised you hid this from us, Nerio. But now that Kito has Lysar by his side, it is crucial that we provide him with all the support necessary to ensure their well-being."

Reassured, Darius smiled and patted his son's shoulder. "In that case, I trust you. Take care of her, and she will take care of you."

The evening was drawing to a close, and the family relaxed in the living room, chatting and laughing. Lysar, the little dragon, had captured the attention of all family members. Despite her mysterious and powerful nature, she was also extremely playful and affectionate, quickly winning the hearts of everyone.

Kaliana, Kito's mother, couldn't help but smile as she watched Lysar playing with Darius, her husband. The strong and protective man he usually was now seemed a little more relaxed, his serious and imposing posture softened.

Lysar happily ran around Darius, who threw small balls of paper for her to catch mid-flight with her claws or tail. His laughter echoed in the room, revealing a lighter and more playful side of his personality. Kaliana found it adorable and thought that Lysar had already found her place within their family.

Grandfather Nerio, usually so impatient, sat on the couch and watched Lysar with a tender but thoughtful expression. The dragon approached him, and with a mischievous look, gently tugged on the hem of his pants. Nerio raised an eyebrow, amused, and crouched down to pet her behind the ears. Lysar purred with contentment and snuggled against him, savoring the affection and warmth he provided.

Kito observed his family having fun with Lysar, and a feeling of fulfillment washed over him. He was happy that Lysar had managed to create such a strong and fast bond with his family members.

After their conversation, Kito retreated to his room with Lysar, holding the low-quality body purification vial in his hand. He sat on his bed, took a deep breath, and swallowed the contents of the vial.

The taste was bitter and strong, but Kito felt something changing within him. He could feel the effects of the elixir spreading throughout his body, purifying and strengthening each cell. Soon, he felt a new and powerful energy coursing through him, and he knew that the elixir had worked. The sensation was intense, like heat coursing through every corner of his body. This caused him to sweat profusely, and he started to feel tired.

Lysar was beside him, trying to comfort and support Kito. She felt helpless in this situation and wanted to help him as best she could. The effects of the potion lasted a long time. Kito, trying to endure it all as best he could, began meditating to focus on the sensation and not be overwhelmed.

As time passed, the pain began to intensify. What was bearable at first became much less so. At times, he began to doubt and wondered if he had indeed created the potion he had intended. But he decided to endure it as long as possible.

Hours passed, and finally, the pain began to fade, and immense fatigue set in. Kito let sleep overtake him as the effects of the potion drew to a close. Lysar, worried, had stayed next to him during the whole process, ready to intervene at the slightest problem. Seeing him finally fall asleep, she began to be reassured and decided to lie down against him.

Although they hadn't known each other for long, the two seemed to be quickly becoming closer and closer.
