Chapter 59 : You sound like my mother.

Luscious and Axis had made it to Lishflour a few minutes before Fay and Bonsi. They didn't directly go to the capital harbor since it was fully loaded.

Lucy wasn't as fast as the two and was caught by Fay. She tried getting information of where they went but Lucy wouldn't fess up.

So they'd turned back to humans to blend into the crowd. Luscious had even hidden his horns while Axis hid his third eye.

Though they were curious about Lishflour, it was only for today lest they got in serious trouble with the women. They didn't stray too far from the ships enjoying the view as they went.

Until they were eventually caught and dragged back to the ship. Fay spared no effort in pinning him to the ground and bending his arm in a way it wasn't supposed to go " Do you really think this is some sort of joke your highness "?

Luscious pouted as his face kissed the ground " It's not like I wasn't going to come back and besides work hasn't started yet ".

Fay narrowed her eyes, pulling harder " You still have the gall to speak ". Luscious sighed in defeat " Yes yes. You were right and I was wrong, can I have my arm back before you rip it out "?

Fay pulled his arm for an extra five seconds and got off. Luscious moved his arm, trying to move it easily " Are you trying to cripple me "? Fay glared at him " If it means you'll stay put, then yes ".

Luscious grinned widely " You wouldn't do that....you'd feel so guilty ". Fay glared at him again and flipped him, making him land hard on the floor " We really need this to go well Luscious so I need you to be serious about it. Can you do that for me "?

Luscious nodded and Fay smiled, reaching her hand out to him " Promise "? Clasping hands with her, he smiled " Promise ".

Meanwhile, Axis who was aboard his ship and not too far away from Luscious' ship couldn't help but sigh as he watched the two fight, well at least Fay was throwing him around [ Why do I wish that was me? ]

Axis attention was pulled back to the pretty gentle looking woman in front of him, " Are you listening Axis "? Axis hummed slightly, nodding his head " What were you saying "?

Bonsi's smile faded slightly and her tone seemed to lose some energy, " Archie and I were wondering if you'd like to come to town with us ". Axis remained silent, staring out at the people moving around.

Playing with her fingers, she turned around to leave when she heard his voice " When do you want to go "? Bonsi smiled brightly " Anytime you're ready. Thank you so much Axis ".

Axis turned to her and smiled slightly " We can go after we reach the capital. I hope that's alright ". Bonsi nodded, suddenly hugging him " Thank you so much Axis, this means a lot to me ".

Though Axis was uncomfortable with the sudden physical constant, he resisted the urge to push her away and sighed in defeat.

Luscious kept his promise and stayed on the ship, even helping Fay. But immediately everyone went to bed, Luscious got up.

Turning into a small black pigeon, he flew over to Axis' ship and perched on the window of Axis study, clicking it with his beak.

The window was opened suddenly and Axis frowned " What are you doing? You're supposed to be in bed...as in not here ". Luscious flew into the room and turned back into a human " How can you just send me away when I just got here. What are you even doing up so late at night "?

Axis raised an eyebrow and Luscious added " Later than usual ". Axis sighed, leaning on the wall next to the open window " Just studying up on the natives and culture ".

Luscious rolled his eyes, " That's great and all, but we should go see for ourselves, instead of staying couped up in here ". Axis rubbed his neck, shaking it " I can't do that, Bonsi would have my head ".

Luscious nodded, collapsing into a chair " What about little Archie "? Axis glared at him " Don't even bother ". Luscious pouted slightly " I'm his godfather, He needs me. You can't keep us apart ". Axis raised an eyebrow " You're more mischievous than the fairies his mother comes from ".

Luscious smiled, picking a piece of paper off the table " I'll take that as a compliment. Better than being as grumpy as his father ". Axis couldn't help but smile " I think I'm getting better at doing this emotions thing ".

Luscious wiggled his eyebrows " Bonsi must be glad to hear that ". Axis frowned slightly " I'm not sure how to respond to that ".

Luscious smiled, standing up " And you don't have to. Let's just go out for a while. You'll be back before you know it ". Axis laughed tiredly " When are you gonna get married anyways? You need a leash ". Luscious frowned slightly, rubbing his neck " Ugh. You sound like my mother, don't ruin this for me ".

With that, Luscious turned into a hawk and Axis a bat to try sightseeing again without getting caught or in even bigger trouble.. Hopefully.
