Chapter 5 : Empress in the bar.

Eros watched as Nectar walked into her castle. The woman didn't seem to be upset about the loss of her hair and the amount of things piled up was astonishing. She had bounced in happily with sweets in her arms. She looked truly happy ,then she bowed .

Eros and Dodwen were led under a large Ethorn tree - It was brown with gold leaves and a wonderful calming scent. Dodwen sat unsatisfied " Why can't we go in "? Liam spoke through his teeth " No place for his majesty to sit ".

Nectar came back out dressed in the same dress and poker faced. She walked over gracefully and stood in front of them " Is there something you need my emperor "?Nectar wanted to punch herself [ I hate myself so much right now ]

Eros stared at her, trying to understand her " The servant has been dealt with. How about you, are you alright "? Nectar was shocked " I'm alright, many thanks for my emperor's concern ". Eros furrowed his brows " And the servant "?

Nectar shrugged touching her hair " Lady Athena has begged for his life. So naturally I will listen to my sister ". Eros nodded, quickly recovering from his shock " Won't you sit my empress "?

Nectar took the seat closest to her [ Get out. Just go away ] Dodwen spoke scornfully, looking around the filled courtyard " Why would you buy so many things. An empress is supposed to be prudent ".

Nectar smiled lazily " An empress always gets what she wants ". She looked around " And I wanted them ". She waved her hands wide " Every single thing ".

Dodwen was dumbfounded but turned it to rage " You'll return everything at once ". Nectar sat calmly and pouted, tracing circles on the marble counter " That won't be possible my Lord ".

Dodwen glared at her " And why is that "? Nectar looked at him with a wide grin " This empress doesn't return what she wants and I don't take orders from you ". Dodwen fumed red, obviously not expecting her to talk back but Eros was oddly amused " Then I will send some things to my empress later ".

Nectar smiled at him brightly " Many thanks to my emperor ". Eros stood and left with a fuming mad Dodwen behind him. Nectar couldn't control herself and teased Dodwen , waving him off " Please come back to visit me Lord Holmes ". Dodwen stomped his foot, charring the grass under his feet and Eros patted his back as they walked, trying not to laugh.

It was already late when she was done organizing all the stuff so she dragged herself off to bed . Nectar collapsed on her bed with a big smile on her face. She was happy to go shopping. [ Spending money is so much fun though, no wonder its therapy ]. Nectar fell asleep soon, thinking about all the ideas she had and Liam came in to check on her [ We've both had a long day Qidu ]

Nectar suddenly opened her eyes in the middle of the night and got up. Silently changing into some black clothes , she closed her eyes slowly remembering the route of the market.

She snapped her fingers and she appeared next to a tap behind a tavern. Nectar laughed excitedly as she looked around. [ I can't believe that worked ]. She was miles away from the palace now.

She was one of the few people born with powers. Not many people could control elements and usually had to be in a life threatening situation to control them, so it was an honour on its own and one of the many ways to become a noble in this world.

She'd practiced her powers in her second life, especially since criminals were always trying to kill her and now had an exceptional control over her water elements and could go as far as teleporting to any where that had water.

Lowering her hood to cover her face and checking for her coin sac, She walked in. A few people stopped to stare at her but she confidently walked over to the bar. The bar man raised an eyebrow as he stared at her.

The man had blonde hair, his eyes were a glowing purple color as well that were almost completely covered by his blonde bangs. " How may I help you miss "? The man couldn't see her face very well but he was sure she was a beauty " Your strongest drink ".

The man seemed annoyed now " A fine lady like you? Sure you can handle it "? Nectar smiled and put a gold piece on the counter. The bar man wordlessly left to prepare her drink.

Nectar sighed as she tried to think. She needed to become stronger somehow but she wasn't too sure how. She didn't want Eros knowing, in case he tried to cut her off and she couldn't get much done with this face. [ Beauty is a blessing and a curse ]

Which is why she was slightly annoyed when someone held her shoulder tightly. She looked up and saw the man's lecherous eyes, his voice was threatening and slightly drunk , he had two other friends behind him " Won't you join us darling "?

Nectar smiled at the man " And if I don't "? He snickered " You don't get a choice sweetheart ". The man laughed with his friends, trying to drag her with him. The man paused when he saw her face.

She was beautiful but she looked like a demon. Nectar was so irritated, her azure eyes had turned blood red. Without much hesitation, she twisted the hand that touched her and hit his head on the table " Still wanna play with me "?

The man and his friends shivered from the amount of killing intent she unconsciously let out and ran away. Just then, the barman appeared with her drink as the others stared at her silently.

Nectar raised her mug and everyone saw her stunning face and blood red eyes and gasped. But instead Nectar laughed, gulping her beer " Drinks on me tonight boys ". The room suddenly erupted in cheers as they slammed their mugs on the table.
