Nectar wasn't the only one annoyed by Eros' sudden interruption. In fact, the mood had been considerably dampened and Eros was quite sure they were staring bullets at him.

Nectar gave Eros' hand a gentle tap as she took it off and smiled, " Your majesty is right, forgive my manners ". Eros nodded and walked away, half expecting Nectar to leave her seat and follow him but she was teasing Axis.
Eros clenched his jaw slightly as he tried to calm down, [ Stay cool Eros, think of how useful she is to you right now ] He took a seat near the end of the table and barely settled down when Alice sat beside him and smiled.
" Greetings to your highness ", Eros smiled slightly as he looked at her. " Pleasure to make your acquaintance ". Alice pressed down on her thumb slightly [ He can be so cold sometimes ] as she looked at Nectar and smiled, " So she's the mother of our Lishflour empire now, huh "?
Eros glanced at Nectar who was poking an annoyed Kancor's cheek, " For now, yes ". Alice nodded and put a hand on his forearm and smiled, " I almost feel bad Eros. Almost ". Eros smiled, " Your lack of mercy is one of the things I love about you ".
Athena who had just reentered the tent, saw the two and instantly frowned, mumbling to herself " She's too ambitious ". But then again she heard a familiar voice, " Lady Athena ".
Nectar was waving at her from her seat and she instantly calmed down, walking to her and completely ignoring Eros and Alice, whose smug look had already disappeared.
" Greetings to Sister Empress ", Nectar waved it off with a smile, " Greetings to you too Lady Athena ". Axis raised an eyebrow as he stared at Nectar, " How can you leave Lady Athena to do all the work Nectar "?
Nectar rolled her eyes and Athena held her shoulders and smiled, " My lovely sister here is helping me entertain you. In fact, I'm a little worried if you'll have enough room for food with all this laughing ".
Nectar patted Athena's hand thankfully while sticking out her tongue at Axis, " I try so hard for you Sister Athena ". Nathaniel walked into the tent and greeted them all properly. Once the formalities were done, the kids showed him their new pieces of jewelry.
Nectar touched his cheek softly, " Are you okay Nate? You seem a little under the weather ". Nathaniel smiled tiredly, " I'm fine Sister Qidu, it just got really stressful with all the cooking ".
Nectar smiled, patting his cheek " Alright, take a seat and relax with us ". Archie nodded and spread his small hands wide, " This is the best trip ever "! They all laughed, the strange uneasiness they all left disappearing for a while.
