His angular face fought back a smile as some strands of black hair fell forward, obscuring his light brown eyes. There was a scar that ran down the left side of his face, but it didn't detract from his beauty, more like emphasized it.

"Nope," I replied, dropping my gaze to his scar-filled hands. It was clear that he was more than just a doctor. Well, unless he was a shitty doctor that managed to cut himself instead of his patients, however, I just couldn't see that.
