chapter -1 Rebirth

It was not the first time Sunny was facing death. But it was the first time he was truly afraid. He was not ready, he has not finished his goals. After him, there would be no one to finish them. Everything would have collapsed by them. They would lose everything worthwhile. His life wasn't worth much, it had been hammered in to his psyche long back; but his work was worth a lot more. He should not die before completing his work.

'oh, Gods in the heaven above!!! please let me survive for some time! Just give me enough to fulfill the work given to me. I will happily die soon after. Please...'

Heavens are never merciful.

To Gods, humans are just toys.

Sunny realised the truth too late. His life force was ebbing. His blood was gushing out in tandem to his franatic heartbeat. He was not ready to die, truly not ready.

If he ever got a chance, he would change... everything. He would never repeat the mistakes.

He would definitely not bow down to the fate.

"Heavens!!!" he cried out loud with the last strength he had, " if you dare, give me a chance. If you dare... allow me to live. I promise that you will bow to me in the end! DO YOU DARE???"

Suddenly there was a tribulation lightning which obliterated everything in its path leaving behind a mourning silence.

"Aaaand....done! This is the end of the novel. And ready for a season 2 too if you are planning for it." Saachi' s tone was mirthful.

Liam was both angry and pleased. Pleased because a big headache was now removed due to this novel, and angry because ...well, it's obvious. Who wouldn't be angry if someone is gloating on your poor state. But before he could start, he was held back by his friends - Stan and Chris. Sacchi had upper hand now. If Liam somehow angered Saachi, Liam would have to face wrath from multiple directions.

This time Liam was in wrong. They all had been reminded by seniors to be mindful in Mdm. Aurelie Paquin's class, but Liam just had to be clown in front of her.

This story would be peace offering for her. So Saachi was literally god for them. Thankfully he did not taunt for long. He turned professional and showed the breakdown of the price - 5000 for story, 2000 for non disclosure agreement, 2000 for early delivery.

Liam was not willing to give the money, especially to Saachi who had just trolled him. " But what guarantee is there that this will work? What if Madame doesn't accept this peace offering? Can't I just pay half now and half after pacifying Madame?"

"Dude, I am professional. I have been doing this work through out my college life. You think I will lose my reputation for a single deal? That too when pay is so less? I only agreed to this because I owe Stan's brother a favour. You try others, they will just slam the door," Saachi replied coolly.

Stan affirmed it. It was also true that none were ready to work in the mess when it involved Mdm Paquin. Liam agreed to pay the amount. It was not like he didn't know this peace offering was worth the price, it was just painful to pay the brat.

Saachi was calculating something. So when Liam was ready to pay, he said suddenly, "if you throw 1000 more bucks, I can give you tips on do's and don'ts when giving this work to the Madame."

This amount was borne by Stan. It was well spent. Without the tips, all of them would have harmed themselves even before taking out this article.

Even before the trio left, Saachi's mind was on other things. He was tallying the money he had.

'Once I get this month's stipend at the end of this week, I will have enough money for deposit. If I pay at the end of the week, the company people would install the VR gaming pad in the next week. So any extra work from now on will be reserved for nutrient fluids.

I still have buffer time of 3 weeks before the VR game- the escape starts. I should also make arrangements for not getting disturbed in initial few days.

It's not like I am re-playing this game for fun. It would be work from the beginning.'

Yes, Saachi had come back to his past life after his death. And this time, he won't be a loser, toiling for someone else and surviving on dregs.
