Chapter 12; Okay then...
After two minutes, she rushed back into the bedroom; the laptop had logged in, and she had her hacking skills, so she hacked and deleted all the video footage from two days ago before disenabling the CCTV cameras around the mansion.
Once she was done, she hurriedly switched the laptop off and placed it back inside the bag before rearranging how things were. She had just settled down on the bed when the door opened.
She slightly jerked out of surprise, if he was a minute early, he would have found her. She knew his laptop contained very important files, and she knew if she requested him, he would give her, but she didn't want to expose her plans so openly to him.
He just needed to see her sweet and adorable side and the other side! She coldly squinted her eyes.
He noticed her change of aura from the moment he walked in and that surprise jerk, "Is everything okay with you? Do you want anything?" He settled down on the bed beside her holding her cold and tiny little hands.
"I'm fine Uncle... I just feel hungry, nothing else." She sweetly responded letting him hold her hands.
"I have made some orders, within twenty minutes, you will have something to eat... You can have a nap on the bed waiting, your hands are so cold..." He gently nudged her back onto the bed before tucking her in.
He turned around to check for a heater but it seemed to have malfunctioned. He got a heavy cover and tucked her in.
He bent over and gently pecked her forehead before settling down on the couch."Don't fall asleep! The food would arrive soon!" He politely reminded her and saw that head bopping inside the cover.
He got his bag and picked the laptop up but felt it was strangely warm, and then recalled that the car heater was on and probably it could be the reason. He trusted Li Feng, and he knew he wouldn't touch his things, and for Zhou Yuxi, she knew nothing about laptops. With the way her room was, she probably saw a laptop in a computer room inside the school vicinity or from a distance.
His heart pained for her, "Xi Xi, do you want to have a laptop of your own? Where you can type your homework?" He was certain that she knew nothing about computers and that the simplest thing to do was learn how to type.
"Yes Uncle, buy me one too... I always see students coming to school with that, some even have a notepad for taking their notes." She immediately aired her grievances like a naive twelve-year-old girl. Since he wanted to treat her as so, then she would be his little girl.
"Okay, tomorrow we will go shopping and you will choose what you like... How about you change houses? I don't think they would treat you well here." He was so ready to take her away. She only needed to say Yes.
"Uncle, how about we stay here for a few days or a month, I will try to understand them and cultivate our relationship, and if it doesn't work, we will move into another house." Deep down, she honestly couldn't wait; if it wasn't that she needed to do other things while in the Zhou mansion, they would have immediately moved out.
