Evelyn's steps paused when she saw Edgar and Amanda walking side by side in the hallway. Both of them were too close, and this made displeased. It seemed that Edgar really enjoyed the conversation they were having.

At first, Evelyn really thought that Amanda wouldn't be able to get close to Edgar. There were no chances of him reciprocating her feelings.

But it appeared that she had thought wrong.

This made the rage burn within her veins, and she had the urge to do something impulsive in order to satisfy the anger within her.

Her blue eyes darkened, and her jaw clenched. But she didn't resort to doing anything crazy. Although she wished to, that wouldn't be suiting her personality.

She believed that it was beneath her to get mad at Edgar. 

"What's the matter? What got you so irked off?" questioned Lucy, standing beside her.
