Connected

Evelyn walked into the rooftop of the hotel. The area was beautifully and majestically decorated, attracting her full attention. 

She walked over to the edge of the rooftop and stared down. Although this height made her feel dizzy, she really liked the view from here, finding everything to be small yet pretty.

It brought a smile on to her face.

Plugging in her earphones into her phone, she listened to the song that flowed out through the earbuds. She found the music to be relaxing.

She closed her eyes.

She had no clue on how long it had been. Only when she heard her name being called did she get distracted from the scenery. She looked back to find Landon standing there.

"It seems that you are still here. Where is Edgar?" Landon voiced out.

Hearing Edgar's name made her feel upset, and she responded, "What does he have to do with me? Do we have to be together? He can do whatever he wants, and it has nothing to do with me."
