"Hansu! Muge! You guys here?" Hanyu's voice boomed through the house as he swung the door open.
"Good afternoon, second young master," a middle-aged woman's voice greeted him.
Taken aback by the unexpected welcome, Hanyu queried, "Um, excuse me, who might you be? And isn't this my house?"
Muge chimed in with a stoic expression, "Dad got you a nanny."
Frowning, Hanyu retorted with a hint of irritation, "Nanny? Seriously? I'm way too old to need babysitting."
The nanny chuckled warmly, "Don't worry, young master was joking. I'm here for cooking and cleaning, I will go home after I clean."
Hanyu sighed in relief, offering a sheepish smile. "Thank goodness, I thought dad will really hire a nanny for me."
Muge raised an eyebrow. "Well, if you keep swinging doors open like that and act like a kid, maybe dad will."
NannyLi chuckled again. "You can call me nanny Li young masters, well I will excuse myself"
After the nanny left, Hanyu rolled his eyes. "Very funny, Muge. By the way, have you seen Hansu around?"
Muge nodded towards the garden. "He's actually trying out archery. Seems to be getting into it lately."
"What is he doing there?" Hanyu asked, curious.
"I don't know" Muge shrugs
As they headed towards the archery range, the distant thwack of arrows hitting targets grew louder. They found Hansu there, bow in hand, sending arrows flying towards the targets with a controlled intensity.
Approaching Hansu, Hanyu called out, "Hey, Hansu! How's your aim today?"
Hansu glance at them and continued practicing.
"Dumb as always, I can't really tell he's my little brother" Hanyu chuckled and grabbed a bow nearby, mimicking Hansu's serious expression.
With a grin, Hanyu notched an arrow and pulled the string taut. "Hah! I'm a pro Archer." He released the arrow, and it sailed through the air, landing just a hair's breadth and the arrow was far from the target.
Hansu let out a puchi* sound.
"Are you laughing?" Hanyu angrily stomped his feet.
Hansu tried to suppress his laughter, but it escaped in the form of a few snorts. "I'm not, I'm just... you're awesome.... you almost hit the bird," he managed to say between chuckles. And gives him a thumbs up.
"Muge, take a picture hansu is laughing look haha so funny" hanyu said in robotic tone.
"I'm tired of playing; it's so boring. It's so heavy it makes it hard to aim accurately," Hanyu complained.
Hansu responded with a smirk and a shrug, while Hanyu rolled his eyes in response.
"Hey, just wanted to mention that I've taken on a big campaign project," Hanyu said, his gaze shifting between his brothers, with a smug face as if he was silently urging them to inquire further.
The two just look at him and walked away.
"Wait, guys, don't just walk away," Hanyu called after them, his voice tinged with a hint of desperation.
"Ahh you guys are like a two-headed eggs with just one brain cell, you don't even asked me my good news!" Hanyu quickened his pace, catching up to his brothers as they rounded the corner of the garden.
As the evening sun began to set. Father Ji arrived back home. In the dining area, Nanny Li was carefully arranging the dinner and respectfully lowered her head.
"Has your mom returned?" inquired Father Ji.
"No, Mom will continue at the hospital for another week. Her patient still requires help, and she'll be looking after nana," explained Hansu.
Father ji nodded.
A glimmer of subtle excitement shone in someone's eyes as they gazed at him. Father Ji's eyebrows twitched as he inquired, "Hanyu, what's got you so thrilled? Is there some good news?"
With a joyful tone, Hanyu responded, "thank you Dad. This chance wouldn't have come my way if it weren't for you. Now I'm proudly have a partnership with a jewelry brand."
"Ah, that's wonderful! Congratulations indeed. I'm genuinely happy for you," Father Ji responded in a monotonous manner.
"You guys are seriously no fun. I'll complain to Mom that you're all ganging up on me," Hanyu exclaimed as he got up and made a quick getaway.
Father Ji shook his head. "Well, first finish your meal."
Muge cleared his throat. "Childish."
"I overheard that," Hanyu chimed in.
After a refreshing sleep and attending to morning tasks, Hanyu finds himself with a clear schedule for the remainder of the day. Seeking relaxation, he decides to visit a beauty salon and readies himself for an evening meeting.
Hanyu's phone started ringing, and he answered it right away. "Hey, Sister Wen, where's the location? I'm driving over."
"It's the tea house xxx ,room number 8. I'm already here," Assistant Wen informed.
"Got it, thanks Sister Wen. I'm on my way," he said, quickly checking himself out in the car's mirror.
"Okay, drive safely," Sister Wen hung up.
Upon reaching the entrance, the clerk inquired about the room number and accompanied him to the private room.
When the J'adore G.E.M. representatives arrived, they greeted each other with firm handshakes before delving into discussions about the proposed contracts.
Once the ink had dried on the agreement, assistant Klint, one of the representatives, chimed in, "We firmly believe that your image resonates seamlessly with the grace and refinement that J'adore G.E.M. stands for."
Hanyu rose from his seat, extending his hand to them, and replied, "I'm truly grateful for the trust you've placed in me. I'm excited to embark on this journey with J'adore G.E.M."
When Hanyu stepped outside he gazed at the sky, and let out a fulfilled sigh.
