Chapter 84: Song Ze Lin:

I woke up to a black screen. The only light was coming from me. Where exactly was this place? I looked at myself and noticed that I was wearing the exact same clothes from the moment I fell off the cliff. Did I die? So is this heaven or hell? But I don't look as if I'm dead. Where exactly am I?

If I was dead shouldn't there be someone to come and collect me? Well, actually I wouldn't know. The last time I died, I vaguely remember someone saying something and then I came back. But I don't remember who it was. Was it Buddha? Nah, I don't think so. That voice was very familiar. Too familiar. Yet I can't seem to remember who it was.

"Hui Qing," a voice brought me back to reality. Tears welled up in my eyes as this voice belonged to the person I longed for. It's been 5 years. (Bear in mind Hui Qing is now 21. It's been a year since she met Qi Yan in her present life).

I turned my whole body around and saw him looking at me. He was wearing a black coat with navy trousers and cream coloured shirt. My tears spilt down my eyes as I looked at him. "Song Ze Lin," I cried out. He smiled and I ran over to him. I hugged him tightly. The guy that I've missed for years finally appeared in front of me.

He didn't look that different from Song Ze Yu. Well I mean they are twins. But when he died he was only 18 yet his appearance looks like a man who is 23. His childish looks are pretty much changed to an older version.

Even if Song Ze Lin and Song Ze Yu are twins they still have their own differences. They are identical in terms of appearance but not personalities. Song Ze Lin's personality is more solemn and boring. Song Ze Yu's personality is more bubbly and fun. Ze Yu enjoys sports and Ze Lin enjoys spending his days reading books. He was quite a nerd if I must say. He said he wanted to be an astronaut if he hadn't died.

Ze Lin was always a sickly child. He had heart problems since young. Many thought he wouldn't live past childhood but he did. His mother died not long after they were born. His father married another woman not long later. That woman wasn't the nicest to them but she didn't exactly harm them. She just didn't care about them.

5 years ago on 2/05/17, Ze Lin boarded a flight from the USA back to China and he never made it back. His original flight was a week later, but because I said I missed him he decided to come back early. His flight caused some turbulence and his plane had to land early in County E. Originally everything was okay. The plane did not crash but because of the turbulence and the panic, Ah Lin went into cardiac arrest. He died on the night of 3/05/17 when he was 18 years old.

My parents received this news on the fourth, but both families agreed that they would not tell me in case it would affect my upcoming exams. Song Ze Yu took Ze Lin's phone and began to lie to me. He learnt how to act like Ze Lin even though I was fooled by the video calls and messages. He was so much like Ze Lin. But after he "came back" from the USA. I knew it wasn't him. They weren't the same. I have known them since childhood. Even if he tried to act, he wouldn't be able to act so throughtly.

I really would've been fooled if it wasn't for the bracelet. Before she died Aunty Song gave each of her children a braclet that had their names engraved on it. Ze Yu hated wearing it yet Ah Lin and their older sister Song Ming Yue treated it as a pricelss treasure. Even though Ze Yu hated it yet he still kept it well. Ze Lin always wore it like how I've worn his ring for so long.

He had lied to me for so long hence I still hate him till today. I couldn't even see Ah Lin off. This was still a gruge I will hold till today. I understood the my family and the song family's kindess but I would rather they tell me instead. I've like Song Ze Lin since childhood this kind of love isn't so easy to forget.
