"It is good that you brought her in when you did," the doctor spoke. He kept Serena's file at his side and directed his gaze at the two men in the room. "She fainted to a large number of shocks registered to her brain" the doctor added.
Jax and Pietro's faces turned pale in horror. They had only suspected that she fainted due to the panic. But didn't expect the situation to be so serious.
"It will be better if you take away the cause of her stress. Because if the attacks become frequent, it might cause permanent damage to her brain or worse, she might lose her life," the doctor explained to them.
He excused himself and stepped out of the room. Pietro hurried to Serena's side and sat on the bed. He held Serena's hand in his, his heart beating loudly out of panic.
The doctor's words were troubling. He wasn't sure what he would do if something were to happen to his boss.
