Iris felt a mix of confusion and excitement at the same time. She looked at him, "Wait! Why did you bring me here?" she asked, puzzled.

Xavier raised his brow slightly, looking at her for a moment before saying, "Did you ask me to bring you home?" He didn't wait for her to answer as he exited the car. "Follow me, we must stop your bleeding, or you will die from blood loss!"

Iris was utterly speechless hearing his words. Vividly in her mind, she had asked him to bring her home, but why did he bring her to his home!?

Knock! Knock!

Iris flinched at the sound of glass being tapped from outside. When she saw his stern gaze, she immediately opened the car door.

"I thought you were waiting for me to open the car door for you!" He said casually, but it sounded like a scold in Iris' ear.
