When they arrive at the dining table, Iris can see Lucian, Gavriel, and the others talking with Xiu.
She sat with Xavier on the other side of the table. Before they joined the conversation, the waitress came to serve her dinner.
Meanwhile, as always, Xavier didn't eat anything; he only calmly drank his beast's blood wine. He didn't bother to engage in conversation with his father.

Iris started eating and ignored what Xiu and the others were talking about. Her mind was still busy recalling what she had discussed with Xiu earlier.
