Am I Dead?
When Iris opened her eyes, she was surprised to see an unfamiliar white ceiling and a beautiful chandelier hanging above her.
She turned around to check her surroundings and saw the room look dim, but she still clearly saw she was inside the luxury Victorian-style bedroom.
'Did Xavier bring me to his new house?' Iris wonders while trying to sense Xavier's aura.
However, after trying, Iris was shocked when she realized she couldn't feel any familiar aura around her. Not only was there a familiar aura, but she felt like she was alone in that place. Not even a single insect or animal could be heard around the house.
'Why do I feel like I'm in a soundproof room?!?' Iris started to feel tense when she was suspicious about something.
She woke from the bed, but a soft groan escaped her dry lips as all her muscles felt stiff, and her bones seemed to turn into logs. After much effort, she could finally sit on the edge of the bed.
