Werewolf (2)
A group of two, well-equipped people were moving through the forest at speeds not possible for a normal human.
At the front of the group there was a man with a sharp face and chiseled body, he had an intimidating aura surrounding him while his eyes were focused on the ground before him.
Following him was a woman with curly hair and a weird tattoo painted across her face, she was chewing gum and looking... bored?
Suddenly the man raised his hand and stopped in his tracks.
"We've found him..."
Looking at the giant footprint of a wolf-like creature he kneeled and inspected it with a device he took out of his pocket.
"That bastard has been running for 5 days already! Can't we just nuke the whole forest?"
The girl with a tattoo spoke, making her companion frown.
"Alexandra, I've already told you, we cannot disturb the ecosystem of the forest..."
Slightly irritated, the man rose from his kneeling position and was about to continue scolding his companion when suddenly they heard a howl.
Auuuu...
"It's definitely him..."
Frowning, the man didn't even spare a glance to Alexandra and bolted towards the howl making the girl sigh in defeat.
"Why are you so adamant on killing it anyway"

Kai was leaning against the end of the cavern trying to evade the huge hand trying to grab him out of his shelter.
Whoosh...
The huge hand flew right beside Kai's face making him slightly more pale. Clenching the bone spear Kai used Prime Thrust only to make a barely visible wound on the creature's palm.
The werewolf momentarily froze, feeling something tickling its skin, but soon started ravaging the cavern even more furiously, destroying all the food and water Kai had.
...
Looking at his supplies being wrecked, Kai frowned, but didn't have a chance to complain, because another claw came his way, this time trying to cut him in half.
Since Kai had no more space to retreat he tensed his shoulders and prepared to receive the hit head on.
Boom...
The next second Kai was thrown against the wall vomiting blood, because of the inner damage he had suffered. Even though his body was now stronger than that of a normal teenager, he was yet able to receive a strike from the werewolf.
Crawling on the ground Kai felt his consciousness fading and dug his nails into the palms.
"Focus!"
Trying to keep himself from fainting Kai crawled behind a debris fallen off the ceiling and hid himself behind it, hoping that he could at least recover from the shock before the monster clawed him out of the cavern.
Looking at the bleeding wounds all across the body he smirked, feeling the bitter taste of blood inside his mouth.
"How do I get out of this one?"
Glancing at the entrance where a huge silhouette Kai sighed trying to remain conscious for as long as possible. He had already understood that he'd soon faint, due to blood loss and tried to keep himself awake.
Ripping apart his jacket's sleeve Kai bandaged his biggest wounds and propped his head against the huge debris.
"B...ast...ard"
Feeling his eyelids getting heavier and heavier, Kai took a deep breath and lost consciousness as the huge claw was about to cut him from above.
Boom...
The ground nearby the hill range shook as something collided with the werewolf's body and threw it in the distance.
Since the limb of the beast was still inside the cavern and the monster had no time to retract it, it was forcefully torn apart from its body.
Auuuu...
The sensation of losing a limb made the monster howl in agony and anger. Turning its glittering eyes towards the person responsible for its pain the werewolf bared his teeth recognizing his enemy.
It was the same human that had been chasing after it for an entire week, not allowing it to stay in a single place.
Growl...
The tendons of the monster's lost limb started regenerating, recreating it at speed visible to a human eye.
"We've met again you scum!"
Not bothered by the creature's regeneration the man spoke, dragging the huge mace behind his back.
The man's sharp face was expressionless and cold, but within his eyes he had a strange, yet dangerous glint.
Not sparing the werewolf any more words the man took the mace with both hands and moved towards the beast leaving black afterimages due to the immense speed of his motion.
Boom...
The barrier of sound was broken creating a sonic boom and slightly confusing the werewolf. The monster was used to fighting opponents weaker than itself and wasn't expecting the human to possess such power.
During the whole week the monster kept running away from the man, because he always had that fearsome female by his side. Now was the first time the beast could test out the power of the man and how surprised it was...
The werewolf's hand deflected the attack, but went numb due to the sheer force of the human's strike.
Growl...
Clenching its other limb that had already fully recovered the monster threw its claws towards the human, intending to slice him in half.
Seeing the huge claws descending from above the man used his legs to launch himself forward, right beneath the legs of the monster, evading its fearsome strike that even shook the ground.
Boom...
Since the beast couldn't reach the human, as it was right underneath it, the man used his mace to shatter the beast's kneecaps.
The werewolf suppressed a painful growl raising up its throat and rolled to the side trying to evade further damage.
"Tenacious bastard..."
Looking at its hinge legs that were already recovering the man squinted his eyes preparing to attack when a small, red orb flew through the air and crashed against the monster's black fur.
Whoosh...
In a second, the orb suddenly split apart and fire engulfed the werewolf's entire body making it howl in pain.
"You should've waited for me..."
Staring at the beast that was trying to extinguish the fire by rolling on the ground Alexandra spoke emerging from the bushes, nearby the man.
"I can't let this monster escape"
As if stating a fact the man took a deep breath making the mace he held a second ago disappear into a ring he had on his middle finger.
"Let's end this..."
