Chapter 10; Don't mind him....

"Yes, come over here..." Bai Xue enthusiastically waved her hand at the girl who was frozen in her steps gawking at her.

Mingyue woke up from her stupor ad rushed over to the car and the door sprang open.

"Good morning Bai Xue..." she boarded while closing the door, she immediately lunged into Bai Xue's arms, she was overwhelmed with happiness, not only did she have a chance to rectify her past mistakes but also cherish time with the only true person who stood beside her.

"What's the matter?" Bai Xue inquired when she heard the tiny sobs escaping from Mingyue's mouth.

"Aggrieved and I want to cry on your shoulders, wet your uniform with my tears and snort, and then it will be as dirty as mine..." she softly hummed but didn't let go.

"Hahaha, silly..." she patted her back comforting her, she knew that wasn't the reason.

"My dear niece, you haven't introduced your friend..." a raw cold voice echoed inside the car.

When Mingyue lifted her head, she could see a man who was sitting at the further edge of the Maybach, his back was leaning on the back of his seat comfortably, his eyes were closed and in his palms, laid a praying bead that was making a jiggle sound as they rotated round and round.

She gawked at the man in front of her, he was truly a masterpiece, every woman's dream, you could see his jawline that was nicely chiseled.

The dark blue suit on him created a mysterious look and was more alluring, it was perfectly fitting and exposed his muscles.

Mingyue gulped instinctively and her eyes didn't stop studying the human in front of her.

Bai Zhou Hua who was feeling that sharp gaze, snapped his eyes open and their gazes met, she immediately withdrew her gaze awkwardly and let go, her eyes had even dried off all the tears.

"Geezz Uncle..." Bai Xue softly whined her lips eying him, she had always preferred calling him uncle as he was over twenty-five years younger than his brother.

"What?" He glared at her before closing his eyes and went back to meditating.

"Hello Uncle, I'm Gu Mingyue..." Mingyue introduced herself, but the 'uncle' title sounded just off.

He snapped his eyes open and gazed at her with his eyebrows curved upward, he didn't know why the word sounded a bit different when it came out of Mingyue's mouth, it was soft and enticing.

"Hmmn.." he softly hummed without much response.

"Don't mind him, he is just an old cultured old man.." Bai Xue smirked as she roughly huffed before getting the breakfast she had packed for her.

"Here, eat this one... It's healthy food..." She opened the lunchboxes that were filled with her favorite yummy breakfast.

Mingyue hurriedly dumped the coffee away and immediately munched on the food, she was still hungry.

"What?" Bai Xue inquired nervously when she saw that odd gaze, she was nervous thinking she has been discovered.

"Are you trying to feed a pig?" she inquired gazing at the amount of food that was packed, it was enough for a family of three.

"Hehe, I packed it for the two of us..." she laughed off getting her chopsticks and accompanied her.

Bai Zhou Hua could hear their little chat here and there, it seemed like every woman was conscious of their weight and it didn't matter how old she was.

The car was moving at a slow pace giving them time to enjoy the breakfast and still, it was too early.

Mingyue who was eating suddenly giggled at the thought that his father and sister will rush to her room only to find it empty.

"What's funny?" Bai Xue smirked as she eat some sausages, she had eaten her breakfast back at home but she couldn't avoid Mingyue's curiosity.
