When Wang Kai's cold answer reverberated around Xiao Ni's ear, her heart immediately pricked icily. Her mind went numb and a clear gush of sadness sweep her face. She couldn't see anything clearly as she runs with glistening tears fell from her eyes.

"I don't want her to come here."

Slamming her bedroom door with quite a big sound, she leans her back to the big door to support her weight. Her hand reached for her heart that aching widely. An aggrieve sobbed fill the beautiful bedroom on the instant.

Wang Kai has always been lukewarm to her recently. It was only a week ago he suddenly treats her like a stranger when she thought they have reconciled. Every time she tried to take a step closer to him, he would run a hundred steps away from her.

It has not been like this last week.

Ever since she hangs out with Yan Xi, Wang Kai has shown his nose bridge more often. Sometimes he would appear out of nowhere with a sinister aura. Sometimes he would come with Ji Cun Xi who somehow could gently expel Yan Xi. Sometime he would come with a book and indifferently told her to play less and study more.

She doesn't understand why he suddenly hates her so much? What has she done? Does he realized her feeling for him and felt disgusted? Is it because she gains some weight recently? Has she turned ugly in his eyes?

She forced her feet to approach her study desk and pull out the letter she hides deep in her study cabinets. Her eyes were brim with tears as she opens the crumpled letters.

Guan Xiao Ni, I hope you can stop expecting more of Wang Kai. He had a girlfriend already, don't be a relationship wrecker!

There is only a little message there, but that anonymous person also sends her a picture of Wang Kai giving a girl his handkerchief. Wang Kai is never a gentleman to the stranger, even if you fall in front of him, he would not even battling his eyelid at you if he did not care about you.

She received this letter before Wang Kai starts to avoid her coldly. She quickly forgot about this because Wang Kai has given her more attention at that time. It must be a prank from Wang Kai's tacky fan-club.

At this time, her phone rang. Xiao Ni reluctantly saw the caller and answer the phone call when she saw Yan Xi's name on the screen.

"Hello?" She sniffed with a wobbly voice.

"Xiao Ni? Are you crying?" Yan Xi's voice filled with anxiety. Xiao Ni only sob and did not reply.

"Don't cry! Don't cry!" Yan Xi panic from the other side.

"I don't want to cry but I'm so sad right now." She tried her best to talk while cry. Her hand wipes her tears away several times but it just won't stop falling.

"Do you want me to come right now?" Yan Xi asked carefully.

Xiao Ni bites her lower lips seems on a daze. She was grounded and couldn't leave the house by her mother. The only gap she could use to run away from this house is 'studying with brother in brother Wang's house'. However, she really doesn't want to stay home right now.

"Xiao Ni?" Yan Xi's gentle voice wakes her up from her long thought. Xiao N took a deep breath, she still sobbing but it was not as intense as before.

Xiao Ni looked out to the window following the sunlight reflected on the big lake at the Guan family old manor. She pressed her lips and decided something absolute. She has made up her mind. "Yan Xi, I don't want to stay in the house, let's go to on date!"

"Date?" Yan Xi was stunned.

Xiao Ni nods her head firmly even though Yan Xi couldn't see her. "Yeah, don't you say you like me? I've decided to go on date with you."

"Ah? Aren't you are grounded right now?"

"I was grounded for almost half of my life, it never stops me from doing something. Just take this as relaxation before the exam. I'll meet you next hour. Let's go to the amusement park!" she decided and cut off her phone without hearing Yan Xi's answers.

Precisely on the next half hour, Yan Xi yellow sports car parked outside the Guan family old manor's tall fence. Xiao Ni opens the window from her room and observes the downside of the situation. After she was sure no one could saw her, she hugs a big ball of fabric and throws it from the window.

She has tied it securely. With no hesitation, she climbs down from the fabric and swing to the big tree near her window. She gulped hard as she saw how far away she's from the lake. Because the lake is not far away from the fall outside of her room she thought even if she falls, she won't die.

She almost fainted but proceed to climb down the tree and run to Yan Xi without anyone noticing her. She bends, hand on her knee as if she just run a marathon. Wait, she actually does. "Who decided to make such a big park inside the house?" she grumbles.

Yan Xi gets out of the car with a concerned look. "Are you okay?" he asked with eyes slightly twitched.

Xiao Ni waves her hand and shook her head. "I… I… will… never.. run.. again…"She was panting and trying to control her breath. Yan Xi wanted to approach Xiao Ni but she stops him with her hand and walks slowly to his car.

Yan Xi starts the car slowly while Xiao Ni looks outside the windows for a long time. Yan Xi turned his head and looked at Xiao Ni's unhappy face, her eyes were slightly puffy. His grip on the steering wheel tightens as he tried to gain her attention.

"Xiao Ni, did senior Wang Kai has an older brother?" He asked.

Xiao Ni pressed her lips and shook her head slowly. "Brother Wang Kai is the only child. What makes you think he has an older brother?"

Yan Xi gritted his teeth. He had tried to open a conversation several times but only when he mentions Wang Kai she responded. Every time she called him brother Wang so intimately he become green of envy.

"Someone stopped me in front of the Wang family manor. He asked me for help, but I was rushing to your place. He oddly looks like senior Wang" Yan Xi answer indifferently and looks straight to the road again.

"Oh, maybe it's brother Wang Ru. He's brother Wang's cousin. My brother said he's not a good person so you better stay away from him." Xiao Ni replied with nonchalant answers, turning her head back to the windows again.

Yan Xi gives a soft 'Hmm' and couldn't help but thinking back about what Wang Ru has said to him when he suddenly stops his car.

He drives quite fast since the road is big and smooth. Moreover, Xiao Ni finally asked him on a date! His car speed could not race his own heartbeat right now. So when someone fearlessly stands in the middle of the road to stop him, he was deeply shocked and impressed.

"Are you Yan Xi?" He asked with the same arrogant tone Wang Kai like to use. Yan Xi surpasses the nuisance inside his heart and nods his head indifferently. Only when the man shows a weird grin on his handsome face, Yan Xi notice his similar features to Wang Kai.

He furrowed his eyebrow. "Who are you?"

What is this prankster doing around a secluded and elite plate? How can he enter and why haven't these conglomerate guards get rid of him away?

"It's not important. However, what I wanted to offer you is important." He said with a tempting expression, pulling out something from his hand.

"Dude, my girlfriend is waiting for me right now. I don't care what's your weird obsession with the Wang family is but I really don't want anything to do with you." Yan Xi said and started to move the car slowly again.

The man unexpectedly laughed as if he heard a hilarious joke. "Girlfriend? Guan Xiao Ni is your girlfriend right now?" He asked while wiping away the tears on the corner of his eyes.

Yan Xi pressed his lips. He looks at the man with an unkind and impatient look. The man seems to ignore Yan Xi's offended face and directly poke into his sour spots.

"She was using you as a rebound, you know that right?" The man spoke slowly with a mocking tone. The man shows him something on his hand right now.

Yan Xi stares at the paper on his hand with a frown on his face. With a conflicted and full of doubt, he opens the paper from the weird man. His eyes flare up as he read the message inside.

Yan Xi froze while the man smiles rose up once more. He slowly takes a step backward and said, "It's better to broke her heart for once rather than dragging it so long, right?"

"Yan Xi, Do you know, actually there is nothing hurts more than a heart left wondering, why." Xiao Ni's gentle voice calling Yan Xi back from his memories.

He turns his head slightly to take a better look at Xiao Ni. Her eyebrow is pretty, her big sparkly eyes are pretty, her tall little nose is pretty, her rounded little face is pretty. Everything about her is mesmerizing, tugging something soft into his heart.

Subconsciously he holds his breath as blood rush fast in his circulatory system.

Her eyelash trembles every time she blinks. He could see the clear sadness on those beautiful faces right now. His heart aches for her...

"Xiao Ni forgot Wang Kai, he will not love you sincerely." He said long after his gaze falls on the white paper on his pocket.
