Chapter 87: World Domination Plan Is A Go?

(SAKURA PoV)

To say I was surprised is quite an understatement of my lifetime. I sort of understand the identity of the man who summoned me from the knowledge that was forced into me when I was turned into a Servant.

He was a god from another universe entirely. Not a traditional god but a human that achieved godlike feats. However, none of those prepared me for what I am witnessing right now.

"Is that… Imaginary Tree and Sea of Quanta?" I asked since as a former Fire Moth, I am aware of their existence.

"Yes. I brought them into my realm and subdued them as mine." The man replied while fawning over my younger sister, the Herrscher of Corruption and feeding her food like a domesticated pet.

Since RIN didn't mind it and was happy with the treatment, I also didn't mind it. She had been through a lot in captivity for most of her life and even before her death. Having someone to give her attention and care is welcomed.

The man is quite eccentric too. Having no ambitions to conquer worlds given most people with his power would already do so. He simply dismissed it as a hassle and waste of time.

I tried to look around this realm I assumed was his divine realm. On where I stood right now is a throne made of marble surrounded with massive marble pillars and rocks of various sizes with some floating around. Behind the throne he sat is a swirling void with strand of lights forming a ring and each strand of light radiate insane amount of power that seems to be coming from the Imaginary Tree and Sea of Quanta, with small trace of energy being siphoned slowly and forming new strand of light.

When looking away from the throne, she saw gigantic pillars looking like tentacles. They opened their eyes and stared down at me before closing again, probably resuming their rest probably. Those things felt very dangerous. But I noticed their eyes are similar to the rhombus eyes that my Master used in the battle.

Other than that, the entire realm is a large open field with light green grass as far as my eyes could see. Quite a pleasant place to settle down as the weather isn't hot nor too cold. Just a pleasant wind that occasionally blows through the grass plain.

"Hmn… we probably need a house to settle down the people." I heard him say it before a circle with unknown glyphs appeared and then a traditional Japanese house appeared beside the throne.

The house is quite big and more appropriately to call it a mansion at this rate.

"My lord. Can you create Homu Station 3 too? Please." The girl named Houraiji Kyuusyou asked excitedly and the man nodded but said he needed an idea of the item first and asked if he could read her memory.

Normally, anyone would reject such a breach of privacy but the girl allowed it without second thoughts which surprised me and the man. But, he did create what the girl requested and happily entered the house to claim a room.

(I remember Houraiji Kyuusyou only has God Mei and Kiana's core right? I read a fic previously that states she has Reason's power of creation too.)

RIN asked for fried tofu before happily stuffing her cheeks with the food and followed the knight lady that was carrying the host of Herrscher of Thunder to the house. After that, he closed his eyes as if meditating when I left to follow RIN. Maybe he is trying to fulfill his promise to seek out the Will of Honkai in the Imaginary Tree.

After a few hours of intense focus, I finally detected the Will of Honkai. To explain it briefly, it's the consciousness of the Imaginary Tree. As for why it purges civilization and humanity, I guess because it's like Gaia, trying to preserve itself like a tree would againsts pests parasitizing a tree.

It should be a consciousness without awareness, the same as the Imaginary Tree itself but for some universes in its branch, someone fused with it and gained power to manipulate the consciousness to its will. A quick check on the Akasha revealed most of the time, it's the Herrscher of the End that fused with the consciousness and sometimes it's a supercomputer named Prometheus that fused with the consciousness or other beings in some very rare cases. For this universe, it's the former case.

Since I subdued the main consciousness of the Imaginary Tree, I sort of have the main control of the Will of Honkai that can overpower the others in their local universe and the proof is simply how easily I can manipulate the Honkai energy.

The energy itself was strange to say the least. It's the vitality of the Imaginary Tree that is absorbed from the Sea of Quanta like the life force of Yggdrasil tree which nourishes the nine worlds and its residents. But, the energy is both nourishing and corrupting. Just like how air is necessary for humans but at the same time a poison that causes aging.

The corrupting aspect is a defense mechanism of the Imaginary Tree toward the beings in each universe. Ensuring the cycle of energy taken from the Sea of Quanta is returned by the destruction of the civilization and thus having the universe pruned and fell to the Sea of Quanta.

Another characteristic of the energy is its unlike mana that can directly be used to cast spells, create objects or used as fuel. Honkai energy is literal fuel and requires a device to turn the fuel into phenomena or items, for example the Herrscher core. The core does an extra step to the honkai energy like turning into mana to cast spells, turn into iron to create iron ingots or turn it into diesel to fuel a diesel generator etc.

The difficulty of harnessing it is compensated by its final characteristics that I found. If mana is like diesel, houkai is like uranium. The amount of energy per unit is very different as Houkai is more energy dense than mana.

In conclusion, Honkai energy is simply more rich than other energies he has seen before. Good to be used as an energy source if the negative effects can be eliminated or contained.

So, what am I going to forcefully stop the Will of Honkai from purging civilization? I could but I won't. Simply because if the Will of Honkai cannot maintain the balance of the cycle, the universe itself collapsed. But for this particular universe, I could but doing so, I must counteract the energy that didn't return to the cycle.

To achieve that, I must guide this world to conquer the stars and harness the energy of other stars in the galaxies. I think this is what Kyuusyou saw in her vision about me leading the civilization to conquer the stars beyond the solar system.

In each universe, there is plenty of energy that is generated by other stars beyond the solar system just like in the Nasuverse. But why does Earth losing its vitality can cause the timeline to be culled and deemed unnecessary?

Simple. It's because Earth is the cornerstone of Nasuverse. Other planets collapse and be destroyed? No problem. But if Earth is destroyed? Universe also destroyed. Just like a story when the main protagonist died. The story will also abruptly end because the story will no longer be relevant if continued unless the title is changed.

Then, what I need to do is to harness the energy of other stars and allow the excess to circulate back to the Sea of Quanta. Simple and quite straightforward plan.

Besides, the plan itself is quite feasible with the advanced technology this world already possesses. Slap some magic on it and interstellar travel isn't that far out of reach. All it takes are probably a few innovations.

Though, before all those plans. The first is to unite the people and form a centralized government to centralize all the resources and workforce toward pioneering the interstellar age.

This isn't the type of task suitable for me so, I must first get the right person to help me with this.

Few minutes later, I returned from Nasuverse with Tanya and Charlotte in tow.

"That's quite a big ambition. Not to mention the scale of this project would definitely take time. Very long time to be executed and could be longer depending on the people's cooperation. But, yes. First we must form a centralized government to even start to achieve anything noteworthy." Tanya commented after I explained the plan to her.

I am very glad to have her because she is eager to take on any task or challenge without backing down.

"So, world domination first?" I joked.

"Yes, world domination first." Though Tanya seems to take it seriously.

"Uhuh… let's introduce you and Charlotte to everyone first." I brought them to the house I built in the Temple of Time.

"So… that's the gist of the plan." Ray explained once again to everyone while gathered on the table as SAKURA took the liberty to prepare a meal for everyone with ingredients that Kyuusyou pulled out of nowhere and stocked the kitchen and pantry to the brim.

"Should I kill the Sovereign of Anti-Entropy and steal the First Divine Key, my lord?" Kyuusyou immediately lifted her hand up like an excited student to receive her assignments.

"Uh, stealing the Divine Key is fine but I'd rather recruit the First Herrscher than kill him. Such a waste of talent to simply kill him off." Ray tried to correct her with perplexed emotions at her sheer devotion for achieving her goal as Saviour that killing is not off limits for her.

After SAKURA served the dishes, everyone took a break from the discussion and ate first. The meal is rather simple. Rice with grilled salmon, miso soup and stir fry veggies.

Ray took a few bites and praised SAKURA for the delicious meal. Even if it is just a simple meal, her effort is worthy of praise. She replied that it's just a simple task that was a routine of her when she was alive prior to being busy working as a MANTIS soldier. Doing such chores kept her mind calm and occupied as she didn't really have anything to do since Ray summoned her for the sole reason of reuniting her with Higyokumaru.

Also, Higyokumaru apparently can transform into human form which she did when eating as her small form isn't possible to use the chopsticks and eating normally. She also has an extra dish of fried tofu that she requested from Ray.

Ray felt a deja vu as her appetite seemed to be endless as she was snacking on a lot of fried tofu minutes prior to the meal and still can eat multiple servings of her dear sister's cooking.

*Sigh* Such a misfortune. I was recovering from my injury when the Great Impact happened and was forced to flee for my life because I can't fight with a broken shoulder.

Since the Raiden Mei plan failed, my next option is the Pseudo Herrscher of Poison. Since she is just a pseudo herrscher, she should be weaker and I can subdue with my Telekinesis.

I am currently in the school, searching class after class for the pseudo herrscher. I found her after searching almost all the rooms and finding her. She had yet to be fully awakened, which is great. I grinned as I can finally obtain a Herrscher power.

*Unzip*

"Hehehe, come to daddy."

*Stab*

"AHHHH! FUCK! FUCK! DIE BITCH!"
