In the ruins of Old Mondstadt, two people can be seen walking toward the center, a ruined tower that connected to a palace below but already in such a state that it's magnificent had been lost by the sand of time.
"Hmn, did you notice that?" Ray asked Venti who went leisurely walking around the ruin in the center, surrounded by a wall of violent wind.
"Notice what? The two girls are spying on us?" Venti replied while finding a place to sit down and summon his lyre from the fake Vision on his waist.
"Yes." Ray replied while ignoring the attempt of spying and looked around the ruin, spotting countless Hilichurls that infested this ruin and even formed several settlements all around it.
He summoned several of his Undying soldiers to wipe out the pest to not interfere with the process later.
Eight giant warriors four times the height of a normal adult, appeared along with a few hundred cavalrymen.
The giant wield an equally giant cleaver-like machete, their body mostly shrouded by the dark particles common on each of his Undying soldiers but their body also burn with unholy green flame that seeps out of their body which is due to Ray modeled them after Yhorm the Giant from one of his favorite game.
They act as lead, leading the cavalry towards the settlements of Hilichurls. Once they arrived, they bellowed in rage to release their warcry before the green fire burst out of their body ferociously, escaping through the crack of their armors which look quite similar to armor worn by crusaders.
Their blazing sword lifted up to the sky and smashed to the ground, decimating the settlement in an instant. Those that survive the smash were assaulted by the flame which burns away their very essence, the soul and then swept by the cavalrymen which comb through the ruin, beheading any escaping Hilichurls with their zweihander.
It took less than five minutes for his Undying soldiers to clear the entire ruin which earned a whistle from Venti.
"Now I believe that you have been VERY lenient when beating my ass off." Venti commented without a change of expression which remained normal with the playful grin plastered on his face.
Deep inside, he was shocked. Such a brutal efficiency. Not to mention, his Undying soldiers will never truly die as long as Ray is alive as they are an extension of his power. Without a doubt, Teyvat couldn't resist if he were to decimate and annihilate this world like he did to the Hilichurls settlements.
Meanwhile, the two in hiding were shocked to the core of their body. Such power, Mondstadt city is nothing but a piece of wet paper if he sends even just one of that giant to sic em.
Lisa made a smart move to bring one of the technologies from Fontaine with her that she acquired from Sumeru. She recorded the entire thing for Jean since her friend wanted to report this to Grand Master Varka.
Back to Ray.
"Summon Dvalin now." Ray said after dismissing the Undying Legion that it dissipated into a cloud of dark particles which converged and absorbed into his shadow.
"No need to tell me twice." Venti harrumphed because he felt Ray is acting smug and bossy somehow, in front of the two women by making flashy showoffs.
Venti played his lyre and made a very melodious song, befitting his title as the best bard in Mondstadt. It continues for a while until the wind suddenly becomes more erratic and violent, although still harmless.
A large blob of Anemo energy converged in the sky until a giant dragon appeared out of it.
The dragon is mainly green in color and mostly blue on its wings. The three pairs of wings reminded him of butterfly wings which look very pretty. A majestic yet also magnificent beauty which has striking resemblance with Blue Dragon sea slug. Ray also notices a dark red crystal embedded on its neck which pulsates and corrupts the dragon's flesh.
"My dear friend. You appeared." Venti spoke with a sad and longing voice.
Ray could notice the dragon indeed came but seems to be very agitated and warily looks at Venti as if not considering him as an ally at all.
Then it roared at Venti.
"I am sorry, my friend. I neglected you for five hundred years. But, I promise. I could erase the pain you are suffering. Please? Please give me a chance." Venti pleaded and poured out his heart for Dvalin which made it become less violent and after a while, it landed but was still wary of Ray and Venti. "Thank you. I will definitely end this suffering that you have endured for the sake of my people."
Venti then looks at Ray to give him a nod. Ray nodded back and started walking toward the dragon but carefully because he could hear a low growl from the beast, warning him to not do anything suspicious.
Venti went to the Dvalin's snout and comforted it while Ray helped to cure the dragon.
He first examined an identity that the crystal is basically the issue, a poison that spread into the dragon and caused its flesh to rot. Besides physical injury, the poison also somehow caused its soul to rot and accelerated the Erosion.
"How is it doc?" Venti asked with a small joke including to lesser the tense atmosphere formed around Ray.
"Bad but manageable. Nothing that I cannot fix. Though, it will cause immense pain." Ray points at the crystal. "Whatever that thing is has lodged itself into Dvalin's soul and before any treatment can be applied, I need to rip that thing out first. Which is incredibly painful."
"So, what should I do?" Venti asked while trying to calm Dvalin's nerve by rubbing along its snout.
Dvalin also shifts its head slightly to look at Ray. It tried to glean if there is any falsehood in his words but all it can find is confidence. It snorted and shut its eyes and rested its head next to Venti.
Seeing that Dvalin agreed and gave its consent. Ray starts the procedure and uses his Telekinesis to physically dislodge the crystal from the dragon's neck.
It growls and whimpers in pain but Venti continues to comfort it and play a song with his lyre to help Dvalin.
Once the crystal dislodged, Ray quickly used his mental energy to form a blade and cut off the corrupted part quickly while ignoring precision since his Third Magic could restore the soul anyway. He ended it quickly and fixed back the soul that Dvalin didn't even have the chance to roar out in pain as the pain had already vanished like it was never there.
Dvalin lifted its head and looked at the man speechlessly that the pain it endured for five hundred years not even Barbatos could heal was healed in seconds.
Ray didn't notice the look Dvalin shot at him and still focused on its soul.
"Now, to remove the effect of Erosion. Just don't resist and everything will go smoothly." Ray hides his smirk as he activates Spiritual Subjugation and Heaven's Feel at the same time. Gargantuan amount mana drained out his body that even his Divine Reactor Core are forced to turn itself on as the energies swirl around him and force those with weaker strength to kneel down in awe and shock.
As if a second sun appeared on Teyvat, the energies continue to grow by the second that Ray struggles to control it and blood trickles down his nostrils.
'Still not enough. As expected of a dragon. Even when it isn't putting any resistance, to subjugate it still takes incredible effort to achieve.' Ray spoke in his mind as he commanded more of his mana to execute this move.
Once the mana is sufficient, they gather and flow into Dvalin's body. Ray first fixed the effect of Erosion and proceeded to brand Dvalin the same way he did with Venti.
Venti noticed it too late. Even if he did, he couldn't stop Ray who owned him.
"Success…" Ray muttered as he felt extremely tired. His stamina is still there but his body and mind simply is very exhausted.
"You! Why did you turn my friend into your slave." Venti for once showed his anger as his eyes glowed with Anemo energy. He pulled Ray's shirt by the neck and wanted to punch Ray but hesitate.
"I never said my help is free." Ray replied monotonously.
"You never state there is a price!"
"Well, you never asked." Ray retorted, which made a vein pop on Venti's head and hook a punch to Ray's face but the punch landed on his own face while Ray smirked.
"Anyway, you two are my property now." Ray wanted to laugh maniacally and made a gesture like Aizen Sosuke pushing his glasses up while saying 'Keikaku Dori' but he is too tired to even lift his finger right now.
Dvalin on the side, suddenly glowed and its form shrunk into a human. A pair of spiraled horn just like her dragon form on her head, bluish green hair that reached her knee, green eyes just like the Anemo element, a petite female body with perfect proportion that not big or small but simply perfect balance like a sculpture of a divine goddess, hardened dragon scale covering her modesty, a tail similar to her dragon form extend from the end of her spine, and a pair of claw as her hand while extend halfway up her arms is scale that connected to her claws.
She woke up in her new form with a frown. This man fixed her but simultaneously also changed her. She didn't have human form, yet. But, her new master gave her one after doing something to her soul. Now, she can feel the invisible bond, the chain that shackled her soul.
She looks at Barbatos, he is also in the same situation as her. Similarly shackled to the same man who possessed the power to not just fix but shatter the curse made by the Sustainer of Heavenly Principle to all gods that not even the Warrior God Morax or the God of Eternity could resist, much less destroy it all together.
Her instinct told her to submit to the one that subdued her. But then she got closer and caught a whiff. Scent of another dragon on him. Another dragon, not to mention stronger, had marked this man. It intrigued her more as an even stronger dragon had clearly marked this man as a mate, which means his strength is indisputable because female dragons only acknowledge stronger male mates.
He might look weak now, it's caused by helping her. Yet, her old friend Barbatos is trying to kill him for helping her… It's difficult to understand.
"Stop!" Dvalin roared when Venti pulled another punch at Ray.
Dvalin charged at Venti and bare her fang before roaring at him again.
"Barbatos, friend cannot hurt my mate!" She caught Ray before he fell and warned Venti whose expression morphed from anger to confusion before settling with disbelief.
"Mate?" Venti questioned. "But he enslaved me and you!"
Dvalin nods and looks back at Ray with curiosity in her face. "Dvalin instinct acknowledge mate stronger male. Dvalin do not care."
"..." Venti becomes speechless when his leg turns weak. "Fuck I need more wine." He said and soothe his growing headache.

Lisa and Jean saw everything but unfortunately the recording tool that Lisa owned had run out of space to record past the healing of Dvalin. But, they heard the conversation.
"Barbatos! Enslaved? Lisa… did you also hear what they just said?" Jean slaps herself in the face to make sure she isn't dreaming.
"Yes, yes." Lisa replied offhandedly as she furiously jolted down everything that had been conversed. "Now, let's escape while they are busy. No doubt they noticed us but didn't bother to chase us away." Lisa dragged her friend and escaped back to Mondstadt city and delivered this news to GM Varka.
Lisa wonders how they will react when they discover their Archon and their great protector were turned into slaves of a powerful god. The church especially might went mad and call it heresy.
