"Hm?" The Emperor looked at the Prince with a surprised expression since it was rare to hear his son talk back at him in a disrespectful tone. 

Usually, the Prince wouldn't act this way, but as he has been going through a roller coaster of emotions ever since Ivy left, he could no longer properly control his temper. 

"I'm only saying this for your own good, Leon." 

The Emperor tried to be patient with his son, as he recalled his friend, the Duke's advice to try harder. 

"My own good? Ha." Prince Leon let out a small laugh of mockery as if he had just heard a ridiculous statement. "Don't talk as if you care. I know that I'm nothing but a political tool for you to expand the Empire. Even without my letter of response, you were already planning on letting the Princesses into the palace, or else you wouldn't have invited the Prince and Princess of Turan to the ball and have them stay with us until now."
