Over the past few days, incidents like this have become more frequent and intense. One afternoon, while Danny was feeding Lucia, her bottle suddenly floated out of his hands and hovered mid-air, spilling milk everywhere. Another time, Ember was singing Lucia to sleep when the crib began to shake slightly as if responding to the rhythm of her voice. The most alarming incident happened just the night before, when they found Lucia's crib levitating, with a green glow, what if the crib flipped, she could seriously get hurt.

Later that night, after Lucia had finally calmed down and fallen asleep, Danny and Ember sat at the kitchen table, the weight of the situation pressing down on them.

"We can't keep this up," Ember said, her voice trembling. "What if she hurts herself? Or us?"

Danny reached across the table, taking her hand. "We'll figure it out. Maybe we need to talk to someone who understands these powers better than we do."

Ember nodded, though worry still clouded her eyes. "I just want her to be safe."

"We all do," Danny said softly. "And we'll do whatever it takes to make sure she is."
