Reappeared as a Villainess

In a bustling city, there lived two sisters, Malice and Melissa. They were inseparable, sharing secrets, dreams, and laughter. Malice, the older of the two, had always been protective of her younger sister, Melissa. Little did she know that this bond would soon be shattered by betrayal. Malice was engaged to the love of her life, Aaron. They were planning a beautiful wedding, and their future together seemed bright. Melissa had always been supportive, or so Malice believed, until one fateful evening when she discovered their affair. To hide their affair, the couple decides to Malice. Years later, Malice reappears in front of Melissa and Aaron. Malice retreated from her family and friends, focusing all her energy on a plan for revenge. One moonless night, as she was stalking the shadows near Aaron's office building, a mysterious man suddenly appeared before her. He was dressed in a sleek black suit, his eyes concealed by sunglasses, and an enigmatic aura surrounded him. "Looking for revenge, I see," he said in a low, smooth voice. Malice, startled and cautious, replied, "Who are you, and how do you know about my plans?" The man smiled mysteriously. "I'm someone who can help you achieve your revenge. I know everything about your situation, Malice, and I have the means to make Aaron pay for what he's done." From that moment on, the mysterious man became Malice's guide, teaching her the art of deception, infiltration, and sabotage. Together, they executed a series of meticulously planned schemes that exposed Aaron's wrongdoings and weakened his grip on the company. "The cover art is the work of another artist, not me."

The Redwood Lamp was one of the best private restaurants in City A. Every dish served was exemplary, and the place only accepted the most high-profile clients. The reservation also had to be made at least one month in advance.

Aaron had managed to book a table yesterday using his connection.

The restaurant's interior was exquisite also the building didn't have a roof. When night fell, the chandelier above gave off a very unique and quintessential vibe and one would feel as though they were dining under the moonlight.

The small group of woman made their way into the building and seated themselves at a corner table.

"Babe..." Melissa excitedly hugged Aaron who was currently busy on the phone.

"Oh you guys arrived," Aaron hugged Melissa back.

"Hi, Director," A woman who was wearing a red gown said shyly.

"Hello, Ashley," Aaron said smiling as he didn't notice someone was jealous.

Ashley tucked her hair behind her ears shyly on the other hand Melissa was on fire when she saw her friends trying to impress her husband who was already married.

"We are honored to have dinner with the Director," another woman named Jenny said confidently.

"Don't be. I'm only doing it for my wife," Aaron smiled mockingly while hugging Melissa's waist who seemed to be calm down.

Ashley and Jenny were shut down, after a short conversation they didn't dare to talk in front of Aaron, who was continuously looking at his phone under the table as he was waiting for something.

"What happened?" Melissa saw Aaron tense.

"It's nothing. Eat," Aaron fed Melissa to make her shut.

Melissa smiled back while being suspicious. After a while, Aaron got a call and he left the room.

"Sir, we were not able to get any information about Calvin Cameron," a man said from the other side of the phone.

"Not even single," Aaron scolded the man who was sweating.

"Yes, sir,"

Aaron immediately hung up the call, he clenched his hand in anger but after a while, he returned to Melissa's side. When Aaron was away, Melissa warned the two girls to control their mouths in front of Aaron and both girls only nodded in agreement.

After dinner, Aaron and Melissa went together in their car while Ashley and Jenny both separated. Melissa's attitude was the last thing they liked about her. Melissa always acts like the queen and treats her colleagues like no one.
